IT'S JUNE AND SO THAT MEANS OF COURSE 2026 ALMOST HALFWAY OVER. AS STRANGE AS THAT MAY SOUND AS IT HITS YOUR EARS. JUNE EVERYTHING IS SHIFTING TO SUMMER AND SO SCHOOL IS DONE. IT'S-- YOU KIND OF FEEL THE CHANGE IN THE SEASONS OF THINGS MOVE AWAY FROM KIND OF THE NORMAL ROUTINE. RHYTHMS AND INTO THIS TIME.
WHERE THINGS SLOW DOWN AND FAMILIES ARE OUT AND ABOUT MAKING MEMORIES AND TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SEASONS THAT WE HAVE. ONE OF THE OLDEST PORTIONS IN THE SCRIPTURE IS PSALM 90 AND THE AUTHOR IRONICALLY ENOUGH, MOSES THAT YOU MAY KNOW IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIS STORY, TIME IS A BIG DEAL. THIS NUGGET OF WISDOM I THINK IS SO APPLICABLE TO WHAT WE'RE DOING HERE. AND VERSE 12 HE SAYS LORD TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS. THAT WE MAY GAIN A HARD WISDOM.
AND HERE'S THE RUB WITH THAT. THE WISDOM OF PSALM 90.
THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL.
AND SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT. AND SO THE QUESTION WE MUST WRESTLE WITH IS WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE TO WALK INTO EVERY RESPONSIBILITY. EVERY DECISION.
EVERY CONVERSATION AWARENESS WITH AN AWARENESS THAT THIS MOMENT IS ONE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE.
AND WITH THAT THOUGHT, WOULD YOU JOIN ME IN PRAYER.
