I'M THE ONE WHO'S FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO EVERYBODY IN THE COMMUNITY, BUT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO , BEHIND THE SCENES HAVE ME TONIGHT POSSIBLE AND MADE ALL THE STUFF WORK. NOW WITH OVER 1000 HOUSING UNITS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND IN EARLY 2700 MORE APPROVED ACROSS DIVERSE RESIDENTIAL TYPES, HUBER HEIGHTS IS GROWING IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS AND ON A PATH TO TRUE SUSTAINED SUCCESS. FIRST PROJECT WAS MIDDLE PARK DRIVE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW ROAD LOCATED AT THE SHOPPING CENTER. THE ROAD EXTENDS WEST FROM BY THE WAY TO A SMALL ROUNDABOUT AND MOVES BACK SOUTH. THE ROAD WAS NEEDED FOR RENEWED DEVELOPMENT TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE NEW APARTMENT COMPLEX AND THE NEW CITY GOVERNMENT CENTER. THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED LAST FALL. NEXT IS THE OLD TROY PIKE NORTH BOUND THE CITY IS COMPLETED WIDENING ON OLD TROY PIKE NORTHBOUND FROM OLD HUBER COURT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. TO THE EASTBOUND RAMP ON I-7. A PORTION WAS WIDENED IN FRONT OF ARBY'S AND MCDONALD'S. THE WIDENING HAS HELPED TRAFFIC BY PROVIDING MORE STORAGE AND BETTER ACCESS TO THE NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS ALONG THE ROUTE. A NEW ARMED TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND CROSSWALK STAMPING WAS INSTALLED AT THE INTERSECTION. NEXT IS THE WIDENING FOR OLD -- FITCHBURG ROAD WIDENING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROAD FROM OLD TROY PIKE, THE WORK INCLUDED INSTALLATION OF CURBSIDE WALK AND STORM. THE ROADWAY WAS THEN RESTRIPED FROM OLD TROY PIKE TO GRAND PIKE TO MAKE A THREE LANE ROAD ALLOWING CENTER TURNLEY FOR SAFER TURNING. THE PROJECT WAS PARTIALLY FUNDED BY THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS. 2023-2024 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT. THIS YEAR'S PROJECT GOES FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF WATER MAINS ON SIX DIFFERENT STREETS, LOCATED IN THE AREAS WHERE NUMEROUS WATER MAIN BREAKS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. REPLACEMENT INCLUDED WATER VALVES, FIRE HYDRANT AND THOSE LAST FALL AT THE END OF THE PROJECT WITH 13,500 PEOPLE . WE DID THE 2024 SEWER LINE PROGRAM, THE SIX-TIME THE CITY HAS DONE A PROJECT TO INSTALL TWO EXISTING PIPES IN THE OLDER SECTIONS OF THE CITY. THIS HAS BECOME A YEARLY PROGRAM TO LINE OLDER CLAY PIPES THAT ARE SHOWN TO BE CRACKING, LEAKING AND COLLAPSING. WAS OVER 6900 FEET OF PIPE LINED AND THE LANG WILL HELP PROVIDE CITY INFRASTRUCTURE. ALL THE HASSLE WALKING PAST WERE RESURFACED [00:20:05] THIS YEAR, SIX FEET WIDE AND TOTAL LENGTH OF THE PATH WAS APPROXIMATELY 13,000 FEET. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT WAS USED TO FUND A PORTION OF THIS. LOOKING AT THIS YEAR WE HAVE 14 UPCOMING PROJECTS, MOST NOTABLY THEY INCLUDE TOM COLLEGE PARK, THE NEW CURB AND SIDEWALK ON GRAND PIKE, A NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND CARRIAGE TRAIL PARKWAY, THE GROVE WATER TOWER PAINTING, MAST ARM TRAFFIC SIGNAL , CURVE REALIGNMENT , THE NEW WELL AT THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT.
