THAT WILL BE EXCITING. ALSO, WE MOVE FORWARD WITH THE EXPANSION PLAN WITH APPROVING SOME EXTENSIONS TO NOT ONLY ARE CITIZENS, BUT INTERNAL CUSTOMERS. WE HAVE HIRED ANOTHER HR SPECIALIST. BEEF -- BETWEEN HER AND MELISSA, THEY WILL GET THINGS FORWARD AND TRYING TO STREAMLINE PROCESSES AND HOPEFULLY GET SOME QUICKER PEOPLE IN HERE AND FASTER WAYS TO GET PEOPLE TO THE FINISH LINE. THE BID WAS POSTED ON THE 14TH AND THE ARCHITECT WANTED TO HAVE A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS AND WE HAVE 10 DIFFERENT FIRMS SHOW UP, SO OUR ADVERTISING WORK HAD AN OPENING ON THE VERY 13TH AND WE GOT A TOTAL OF 3B, THEN ON THE SCHEDULE WE CHOOSE TO MOVE ON EVERY 24TH . THE ADVERTISEMENT, I WILL HIGHLIGHT SOMETHING HERE. THE LOWEST BID WAS $2.46 MILLION , BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE REQUIREMENT OF BUILDING A FIRE STATION IN THE LAST 12 YEARS. THE RECOMMENDATION THAT WE HAVE AFTER WORKING WITH THE ARCHITECT AND LOOKING AT EVERYTHING, WE HAD AN ESTIMATED PROJECT COST OF THE ARCHITECT CONTRACTORS FELT THAT IT SHOULD BE $2.5 MILLION PROJECT AND CAME IN 2.46+ THE

$100,000 CONSTRUCTION ALLOWANCE FOR A TOTAL OF 2.56 MILLION . THEY WERE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE CONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE LAST 12 YEARS OF NO LESS THAN 10 FIRE STATIONS AND ONE IN WHICH 2016 IS OUR STATION. WE HAD A POSITIVE WORK HISTORY. I BELIEVE RIGHT NOW THEY ARE BUILDING THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING AND OUR RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $2,560,000 ,

THE FIRST ONE BEING $32,142.13 AND THIS IS A TRANSFER FROM MONTGOMERY COUNTY FUND TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND WHERE WE HAVE THE PROJECT LAST YEAR FOR THE TRADITIONAL LOOK NORTHBOUND LANE. IN THE BUDGET, THERE WAS AN AMOUNT READY TO TRANSFER FROM MONTGOMERY COUNTY OVER TO OBVIOUSLY THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND WITH NO FUNDING MECHANISM, SO YOU HAVE TO BRING IT AS A TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER FUND, WHICH WAS USED FOR OTHER TRANSFERS, SO THE REMAINING BALANCE NEEDS TO BE FUNDED AND THAT AMOUNT IS 32,142 AND $.13. THE NEXT ITEM WAS CONSTRUCTION CHANGE ORDERS FOR THE SENIOR CENTER RENOVATION WITH A TOTAL OF $39,000 -- 39,278 . ANY

THEY UPDATED THE WARD MAPS AND WE JUST ADDED THE ANNEXED LAND TOWARD TWO AND THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT POPULATION AND THERE MAY BE NO POPULATION, BUT IF THERE IS IT'S JUST A FEW INDIVIDUALS IN THAT LAND, SO WE WENT , BECAUSE OF THE CONTIGUITY OF THAT AND KEEPING ATTACHED TO A PARCEL OR PART OF THE WOODS WHERE THEY MUST LOGICALLY FIT. WE ARE REQUIRED TO DO PERIODICALLY AND WITH THE U.S. CENSUS DATA BEING UPDATED WITH UPDATES TO THE WARD MAPS, WHICH WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST TO MAINTAIN RELATIVELY EQUAL POPULATION DISTRIBUTION BETWEEN ALL OF THE SIX WARDS OF THE CITY, SO AS IT APPROACHES THAT OR SIGNET GROWTH IN THE NEWLY ANNEXED LAND, THEN WE WOULD HAVE TO REVISIT THAT PROCESS AND MAKE WARD ADJUSTMENTS ACCORDINGLY TO MAINTAIN THAT POPULATION DISTRIBUTION , BUT FOR NOW THIS
