TWO KIDS PER HOUSEHOLD WOULD TAKE THAT POPULATION FROM ALMOST 2000 TO ALMOST 4,600 TO 5,000 KIDS. THE SCHOOL IS ALREADY TOO SMALL. THE NEW BUILDING, HIGH SCHOOL 2017, THE ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH 2023 BECAUSE OF THE STRUGGLES WE'RE NOT KEEPING THE TEACHERS LIKE WE DID BEFORE. THOSE TEACHERS WOULD START THERE AND RETIRE THERE. NOW THEY CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT. THE STRUGGLE IS REALLY DIFFICULT FOR THEM. UH, SO I'M ASKING YOU TO CONSIDER YOUR VOTING CONSTITUENTS AND THEIR KIDS. DO YOU WANT ANY MORE KIDS TO STRUGGLE? NOW IF WHETHER OR NOT THAT TRACKS FORWARD AND IS THE SAME AS PART OF WHAT ACTUAL CARRIAGE TRAILS, UH, 2.0 IS THAT PEOPLE ARE CALLING IT, IF THAT WOULD BE THE CASE, WE, WE DON'T KNOW THAT BECAUSE THOSE PEOPLE DON'T LIVE HERE YET. BUT WE HAVE DATA LOOKING BACK FROM EVERYTHING IN THE ORIGINAL CARRIAGE TRAILS. THAT'S WHERE KIND OF THE NUMBERS ARE SWELLING, BUT NOT SO MUCH IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND THE HIGH SCHOOL. BUT THOSE KIDS WILL EVENTUALLY GET THROUGH THERE UP IF THEY'RE STAYING. BUT ALSO EVERY YEAR THERE'S ABOUT 150 KIDS THAT LEAVE THE DISTRICT BECAUSE THEY GRADUATE. SO AS YOU HAVE, YOU KNOW, IF I GO BACK TO THE LAST 20 YEARS OF THE ENROLLMENT, I, I THINK THERE'S ONLY MAYBE TWO YEARS IN THE LAST 20 YEARS WHERE THERE'S BEEN MORE THAN 160 KIDS NEW ENROLLMENT IN BETHEL. BUT EVERY YEAR SOMEWHERE AROUND A HUNDRED HUNDRED 20 TO 150 IS GRADUATING AND LEAVING. SO THE NET GAIN, YOU KNOW, I THINK THAT'S, THAT'S JUST SOMETHING THAT WE ALL HAVE TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION, RIGHT? I MEAN, ALL THAT DATA EXISTS. SO, UM, BUT I ASSURE YOU, AND I ASSURE EVERYBODY LISTENING, WE ARE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT THAT AND OUR DUE DILIGENCE. IN RECENT EXTREME CASES WHERE BORDERS ARE BEING VIOLATED, SUCH AS THE BORDER BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE, THE BORDER BETWEEN GAZA AND ISRAEL, THESE ARE VIOLATIONS AND CROSSINGS OF BORDERS, WHICH ARE MEANT TO KEEP ORDER IN PEACE, MEANT TO KEEP THE CITIZENS OF EACH COUNTRY SECURE AND GIVE THEM THE ABILITY TO GO ABOUT THEIR INDIVIDUAL LIVES. BUT BY GOVERNMENTS CROSSING THESE ESTABLISHED BORDERS WITHOUT BEING INVITED, THE PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BORDER HAVE SUFFERED AND DIED TO A LESSER EFFECT. OUR US BORDER WITH MEXICO IS BEING BREACHED PHYSICALLY, NOT BY GOVERNMENT TROOPS, BUT BY MILLIONS OF IMMIGRANTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD THAT ARE CROSSING OUR BORDERLINE WITHOUT REGARD TO OUR ESTABLISHED RULES AND REGULATIONS. SOME COME WITH GOOD INTENT, SOME WITH EVIL PURPOSE IN MIND. THE RESULTS ARE NOT IMMEDIATELY SEEN AS IN UKRAINE AND ISRAEL, BUT WILL BE FELT OVER THE NEXT DECADES. SOME MIGHT SCOFF WHEN I SUGGEST THE BORDER BETWEEN HUBER HEIGHTS, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AND BETHEL TOWNSHIP. MIAMI COUNTY HAS THE SAME IMPORTANCE, BUT THE CORE IDEA IS JUST AS CLEAR. EACH COMMUNITY HAS THE RIGHT TO ESTABLISH RULES AND REGULATIONS MEANT TO KEEP THEIR LOCAL CITIZENS SAFE AND SECURE. ESTABLISHING LAWS THAT ALLOW THEIR CITIZENS TO ENJOY THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES WITHOUT THE THREAT OF THEIR NEIGHBORS CROSSING THE BORDER AND IMPOSING THEIR WILL, CHANGING ESTABLISHED RULES AND THEIR WAY OF LIFE WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE COMMUNITY. OVER 40 YEARS AGO, THE CITY OF DAYTON TRIED TO ERASE THE BORDERLINE BETWEEN DAYTON AND WAYNE TOWNSHIP. WITHOUT INVITATION FROM THE COMMUNITY OF WAYNE TOWNSHIP, WAYNE TOWNSHIP HAD AN ESTABLISHED GOVERNING BODY WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS THAT THE PEOPLE AGREED TO LIVE BY. WAYNE TOWNSHIP WAS ABLE TO KEEP DAYTON AT BAY AND KEEP THE BORDERLINE INTACT. DAYTON IS STILL YOUR NEIGHBOR, AND THEY GOVERN THEIR CITIZENS. AS DAYTON CITIZENS AND THE NEWLY [01:05:01] ESTABLISHED CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS HAD THE RIGHT AND PRIVILEGE TO GOVERN THEIR CITY AS YOU AND YOUR CITIZENS HAVE SEEN FIT. BETHEL TOWNSHIP, YOUR NEIGHBOR TO THE NORTH POPULATION 4,000 APPROXIMATELY, HAS THE SAME DESIRE.
