HOWEVER, WE ARE HAPPY TONIGHT TO RECOGNIZE THE MIAMI VALLEY MARINES AS THE OUTSTANDING VETERAN ORGANIZATION AND THEIR UNIT COMMANDER, KATE DIDN'T HER AS THE OUTSTANDING VETERANS, THE FIRST AWARD WE WILL CONFER TONIGHT GOES TO THE MIAMI VALLEY YOUNG MARINES, AND IT WILL ACCEPTED BY THE COMMANDER MR. OUR COMMISSION CHAIR PERSON, MR. AL GREEKS WILL NOW PRESENT THE AWARD FOR THE MIAMI VALLEY MARINE ORGANIZATION TO MR. MILLER.

AND WE GET IT AND WE APPRECIATE THE WORK I'VE DONE OVER THE YEARS AND THE THINGS THAT THEY PROVIDED HOW'S THAT? OKAY.

YEAH.

WE APPRECIATE THE THINGS THAT THE YOUNG MARINES HAVE DONE FOR.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

TRYING TO STAY SOME YELLOW TO MY MASS.

UM, ANYWAY, UM, WE DO APPRECIATE WHAT THE YOUNG MARINES HAS DONE, UH, OVER THE YEARS.

WHAT IS COMMUNITY AND FOR THE YOUNG, UH, YOUNG PEOPLE, YOUNG ADULTS, UH, IN THE AREA, WE THINK IT'S AN OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION AS A THREAT.

HE HAD MENTIONED HE WON SEVERAL AWARDS.

AND SO WE KNOW THAT THEY'RE DOING GOOD THINGS AND WE KNOW THEY'LL DO GOOD THINGS IN THE FUTURE.

SO WE REALLY, REALLY FELT GOOD AT PRESENTING THEM WITH THIS AWARD.

DO YOU THINK IT WAS A GREAT THING AFTER LISTENING TO WHAT YOU JUST HEARD? IT SHOULD BE NO SURPRISE TO LEARN THAT TONIGHT.

SECOND AWARD GOES TO THE LEADER OF THE MIAMI VALLEY, YOUNG MARINES, THE UNIT COMMANDER, MR. J CAKE AND MELBOURNE AT THE TIME REMAINING TO US THIS EVENING, IT WILL BE ESPECIALLY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO RELATE TO THE ENTIRETY OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

MR. MILLER HAS PROVIDED TO HIS COUNTRY AND HIS COMMUNITY, BOTH IN THE MILITARY AND MOST MILITARY SERVICE.

SO WE WILL CONTINUE WITH JUSTICE, LATEST SERIES OF CONTINUING ACCOMPLISHMENTS, HUBRIS VIBES, MILITARY AND VETERANS COMMISSION IS VERY PLEASED TO RECOGNIZE MR. JAY KEEGAN MILLER UNIT COMMANDER OF MIAMI VALLEY AND WORRIED FOR HIS OUTSTANDING VETERAN SERVICE TO COMMUNITY AND COUNTRY UNDER MR. MILLER DEMONSTRATES A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY TO THE MIAMI VALLEY COMMUNITY

[00:10:01]

AND GENERATES MANY ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THOSE WHO LIVE HERE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE VETERANS.

ALL OF THESE SERVICES ARE ACCOMPLISHED DURING HIS QUOTE FREE UNCLOTHED TIME AND WITHOUT ANY REMUNERATION WHATSOEVER, EXCEPT FOR THE WELL-DESERVED FEELING OF PRIDE AND ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A VERY NOBLE MISSION, THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR AMERICAN YOUTH.

I SHOULD ADD THAT AFTER 18 YEARS OF WORKING WITH AND OBSERVING MR. MILLER IN ACTION, HE DOES ALL THESE THINGS, NOT BECAUSE OF DUTY.

RATHER HE IS CONTINUALLY PROPELLED BY A LOVING COMMITMENT TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE UNIT AND AN INTENSE INTEREST IN THEIR WELLBEING.

MR. RIGS WILL NOW PRESENT THE AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING VETERAN SERVICE TO MR. MILLER.

I WAS TRYING TO TIME BETWEEN THE .

YOU GOT IT IN A SECOND.

I PERSONALLY TAKE YOUR MIC.

THANK YOU, MR. MILLER.

I'M IN THE SECOND ROUND, DO A ROUND OF APPLAUSE, BUT FIRST NOT TO KNOW IF HE HAS ANYTHING HE'D LIKE TO SAY BEFORE WE DO THAT, LET'S GO OBLIGATED NOW.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, FIRST OFF, I GUESS I'M HONORED THAT YOU GUYS EVEN CONSIDERED ME FOR SUCH AN AWARD.

UM, OFTENTIMES WHEN YOU DO STUFF LIKE THIS, I GUESS YOU DON'T DO IT IN THE HOPES OF GETTING RECOGNITION YOURSELF.

UM, A LOT OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS WE'VE GOTTEN AS A UNIT, GIVE ME, FILLING ME WITH PLENTY OF PRIDE.

SO, UM, YOU KNOW, EXPERIENCE IT WITH MY EMORY.

AND SO I'M QUITE HONORED THAT YOU GUYS SAW ME AS WORTHY OF THIS AND ADMITS ALL THAT.

SO, UM, THANK YOU TO THE YOUNG MARINES BECAUSE HONESTLY IT'S THEM THAT DOES ALL THE WORK.

I JUST HAVE TO GIVE THEM GUIDANCE ON WHAT TO DO.

SO, SO THANK YOU EVERYONE.

OH, SO, WELL, UH, WHILE THIS IS HAPPENING AND BRINGING THE YOUNG MARINES UP, HOW DID THAT MR. MAYOR, WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAY ANYTHING, UH, CONCERNING YOUR WORK? I THINK I WOULD SAY THIS IS A FINE, CERTAINLY EVERYONE IN THE SERIES.

WE'RE THANKFUL FOR THE COMMISSION.

AND IN FACT, WE DECIDED TO GET THIS AWARD TOGETHER.

I JUST WANT TO CONGRATULATE YOU ON ALL THE WORK THAT YOU DO IS A LABOR OF LOVE.

CERTAINLY IT'S BEEN OBVIOUS TO ME, WASHINGTON WORK WITH THESE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE LAST THREE YEARS HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN VERY WELL DESERVING.

CONGRATULATIONS.

NOW CONTINUE.

WHY DON'T YOU STAY UP THERE FOR JUST A SECOND SHIFT ONE STEP.

PERFECT.

ALL RIGHT, READY? THANK YOU AGAIN.

LET'S DO THE YOUNG MARINES AND MR. AND MR. MILLER FOR THE THINGS THAT YOU'VE DONE.

UM, WE KNOW THAT THEY'LL DO MORE AND CONTINUE TO MAKE US PROUD HERE IN THE FUTURE AND PROVE THAT YOU GAVE TO THE FIRST AWARD TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

AND, YOU KNOW, I LOOK AT THEM AS BEING SPECIAL AND, YOU KNOW, SPECIAL STANDS FOR SOMETHING, THIS DANCE WITH PEOPLE WHO SERVED BEFORE SELF, THEY LOOKED AT CERTAIN PEOPLE, YOU KNOW, PROUD OF WHAT THEY DO AND HOW THEY DO IT.

THEY'RE EXUBERANT AND EXCITED, AND THEY DO IT FOR A LONG TIME, 18 YEARS.

I HEAR YOU.

DON'T DO IT OVERNIGHT AND CARING AND CARE FOR THE CITY.

YOU CARE FOR YOURSELF AND TO CARE FOR OTHER AMERICANS, THAT'S IMPORTANT.

THEY HAVE INITIATIVE AND GET OUT AND TAKE CARE OF THINGS THAT NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE

[00:15:01]

OF.

NO ONE HAS TO ASK THEM TO MOVE.

THEY MOVE ON THEIR OWN.

THEY'RE ACTIVE.

AND I THINK ABOUT A WORD THAT I LEARNED BACK WHEN I WAS AT AIR FORCE SPACE COMMAND, WHICH IS NOW SPACEPORTS, UH, WE HAD A THING CALLED TACK THEM UP.

IT WAS ABOUT TICKET CHARRED AND MOVING OUT, YOU DON'T STAND AROUND AND WAIT FOR THE PEOPLE TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.

YOU TAKE THE CHARGE AND YOU OUT.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE YOUNG MARINES AND LEADERSHIP.

THESE MEN AND WOMEN ARE GETTING GREAT LEADERSHIP TRAINING, BUT MR. KEEGAN, UH, MR. MILLER, WHO HIMSELF HAS SEEN GREAT LEADERS AND IS NOW ACTING ON THAT LEADERSHIP AND MAKING THIS GREAT ORGANIZATION, ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT WE'RE PROUD OF HIM AND KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

THANK YOU.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, ALL OF YOU WHO CAME TO ATTEND THE AWARDS PRESENTATION TONIGHT.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.

THIS CONCLUDES THE AWARD PRESENTATION.

SO IF YOU HAVE, UH, ANY PRESSING A GAY FRIENDS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GO OUT THERE AND REALIZE COLD WEATHER REMAINDER COMMERCIAL MANAGER.

YOU'RE CERTAINLY WELCOME.

OH, GOODNESS.

UH, ROD FOR BETTER TOMORROW.

I'LL UPDATE THE FIRST ROCK.

OKAY.

VERY GOOD.

YEAH.

YES.

THE, UH, THE VETERANS MEMORIAL HASN'T BEEN OUT TO BID, IT HAS, UH, RECEIVED THE RESPONSES.

WE HAD FOUR CONTRACTORS THAT HAVE RESPONDED TO THE DID REQUEST.

A THE DETAILED BID PACKAGE WAS PROVIDED AND CREATED BY OUR HIRING ARCHITECTS.

UH LWCC UM, AND WORKING CLOSELY WITH, UH, MR. CHARLES MANITA, MR. JOHN FABELO, UH, CHARLES NITA.

I'M SORRY.

BEAR MOONEY.

OF COURSE, BEING THE SON OF MR. CHARLES MINI NEW FOR CITY MANAGER HERE IN THIS BUILDING IS NAMED AFTER.

SO IT'S REALLY NICE TO SEE THAT CONTINUED COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP, AND WE CERTAINLY APPRECIATE THEIR EFFORTS AND ASSISTANCE IN THIS VENTURE.

UH, THE BID RESULTS, UH, GOOD NEWS IS THAT IT APPEARS THAT THE BIDS HAVE COME IN ACTUALLY UNDER OUR BUDGET, OUR ESTIMATED BUDGET.

UH, THERE ARE SOME FINAL REVIEWS BEING DONE BY LWCC THE ARCHITECTS AND THE PROJECT TEAM, AND WE SHOULD BE PRESENTING THOSE RESULTS AT THE NEXT UPCOMING WORK SESSION, UH, OF CITY COUNCIL.

UH, THOSE RESULTS WILL BE REVEALED TO THEM, AND ONCE THOSE RESULTS ARE APPROVED, THEN WE WILL SEEK PERMISSION TO MOVE FORWARD WITH AWARDING THE BID TO BEGIN THE CONSTRUCTION.

SOME OF THE INITIAL RESPONSES THAT WE HAD HAS INDICATED THAT DELIVERY TIME FOR SOME OF THE GREATEST WORK AND MATERIALS NEEDED, UNFORTUNATELY ARE UNDER SOME DELAYS DUE TO A VARIETY OF SHIPPING, UH, TRANSITION AND WORKFORCE ISSUES DUE TO SOME OF THE CLOSURES THAT OCCURRED LAST YEAR AND CLOSURES THAT STILL, UM, UH, IMPACT SOME OF THE INDUSTRIES IN THAT THIS YEAR.

SO WE'RE LOOKING AT ABOUT A EXTENDED FIVE MONTH DELIVERY TIME ON SOME OF THE MATERIALS, WHICH WILL EXTEND THE ESTIMATED PROJECT TIMELINE A LITTLE BIT FURTHER OUT, BUT ONCE WE GET A CONTRACT WITH THE HIRED VENDOR, WE'LL BE ABLE TO, UM, TO DRILL THAT DOWN A LITTLE BIT FURTHER AND BE ABLE TO HAVE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND TIMELINE UPDATES.

SO VERY EXCITED, UH, VERY PROUD AND VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND EFFORTS THAT THE PROJECT TEAM, UH, THE SUB COMMITTEE OF THIS COMMISSION, THIS COMMISSION ITSELF, CITY COUNCIL, WHEN THE COMMUNITY GETTING BEHIND THIS VENTURE, AS WELL AS THE GROUP THAT ORIGINATED THIS IDEA, UH, TO ACTUALLY BRING IT TO FRUITION.

SO IT'S AN EXCITING TIME IN 2021 WILL BE A GREAT YEAR FOR VETERANS IN THIS COMMUNITY AND REGION TO PAY HOMAGE AND, AND MEMORIALIZE THEIR EFFORTS, THEIR DEDICATION, UH, THAT OF WHICH OBVIOUSLY GAVE SOME AND MANY GAVE ALL SO, UH, UH, EXCITED TO CONTINUE TO MOVE THIS PROJECT FORWARD.

AND, UH, THINGS WILL BEGIN MOVING AND HAPPENING VERY QUICKLY.

VERY SOON.

GOOD.

YOU CAN COME BACK TO QUESTIONS FROM THE COMMISSION.

IT'S THANKS A LOT, ROB, FOR ALL YOUR WORK.

YES.

[00:20:02]

THANK YOU.

IT'S BEEN A VERY EASY HAVING THE, A COMMITTED TEAM TOGETHER AND, UH, THE SUBCOMMITTEE AND, UH, PROJECT TEAM MAKING SURE TO BRING THE VISION TO REALITY AND, UM, UH, IT'LL BE A GREAT THING FOR EXCELLENT.

OKAY.

MOVING ONTO THE NEXT ITEM IS A MASTER SIDE OF THE LEWIS BROWN STREET, DEDICATION, UNDERSTAND AND KNOW THAT THE SIGN IS UP.

CAUSE I SEE IT EVERY TIME I GO DOWN AND BRING PIPE.

UM, SO I GUESS YOU, YOU'RE JUST, YOU WANTING TO KNOW WHAT'S THE PLAN FOR ACTUAL DEDICATION.

I KNOW ROB, YOU MENTIONED SOMETHING TO ME AWHILE BACK.

UM, BUT I GUESS I'M ALSO LOOKING CERTAINLY, UM, AS WE DISCUSSED PREVIOUSLY, THE, THE DESIRE WAS TO HAVE A SITUATION WHERE WE COULD INVITE IN, UM, UH, MASTER SERGEANT BROWN WIDOW, UH, TO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE A, UH, A REPLICATE OF THE SIGN AND ALSO THE DEDICATION OF THAT, UM, OF THAT LOCATION AND THAT THE COMMISSION WANTED TO PARTICIPATE THAT AND THEY DEDICATION FORMAL, UH, EVENT AT CITY COUNCIL.

SO NOW THAT WE ARE, UM, ARE BACK TO MEETINGS HERE IN THIS FACILITY AND FOR PUBLIC VIEWING, UM, THEN I THINK IT'S TIME TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT, TO GET THAT ON THE SCHEDULE FOR CITY COUNCIL, UH, AND CERTAIN WITH MAYOR VIEW HERE AND OTHER MEMBERS OF COUNCIL THEY'RE EAGER AND WILLING TO HAVE THAT DONE AS WELL.

SO WE CAN GET THAT CYCLE TO THE AGENDA AND LOOK TO HAVE THAT DONE SOON.

UH, AND, UM, JUST IN COORDINATION WITH, UH, WITH MRS. BROWN, UH, TO BE ABLE TO BE HERE, TO RECEIVE THAT.

GOTCHA.

EXCELLENT.

OKAY.

EXCELLENT.

UH, I THINK THAT'S A WORTHY THING AND, UH, IT'S JUST GREAT TO CITY COUNCIL AND PASTOR APPRECIATE THAT.

MOVING TO THE NEXT ITEM FLOAT BEFORE.

IS THERE ANY COMMENTS FROM MISSION? OKAY.

MOVING TO THE NEXT ITEM, THE NEWSLETTER.

SO IF YOU DID NOT SEE THE NEWSLETTER, I AM PLEASED TO SAY THAT MY COLLEAGUE, MR. GERARD WILL BE TAKING THAT ON.

I WILL ASSIST HIM AS, AS A CO-EDITOR, BUT HE REALLY CAME UP WITH A VERY, VERY NICE, UH, LETTERHEAD AND, AND FORMAT FOR THAT.

SO WE'LL BE DOING THAT ON A QUARTERLY BASIS, WHICH MEANS THE NEXT NEWSLETTER WOULD BE DUE OUT IN FEBRUARY BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH.

IT WASN'T A NICE LETTER.

VERY OCCASIONALLY IT'S 10 CALLED A DOG TAG, RIGHT, SIR? YES, NO, NO DOWN RANGE.

THE DAMAGE IT'S CALLED THE , BUT WE'RE USING THE DOG TAGS NOW.

RIGHT.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT, GOT IT.

GOT IT.

GOOD.

AND RECOMMENDED IT TO THE REST OF THEIR PERMISSION IF THEY HADN'T SEEN IT.

UH, CAUSE YET, UM, NO, IT'S NEW.

UH, PLEASE LOOK AT A, OKAY.

WE'RE MOVING ON TO A NEW BUSINESS AND IT LOOKS LIKE THAT IS OF OFFICE AND MYSELF.

MR. DERIVE.

AND MR. HOFF, UH, DO WE NEED TO COME OUT HERE? GO RIGHT HERE.

YEAH.

WHERE WERE YOU? SOME OF THE OPTIONS WE HAVE THAT BUY IT, FIX IT.

SO THIS IS THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS BOARD, THE COMMISSION MEMBER OF ACCEPTANCE AND IT LIVES IN OFFICE.

SO RAISE YOUR HAND.

SO I STATE YOUR NAME PLEASE.

GREAT.

GERARD DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR OR AFFIRM, SWEAR AND AFFIRM TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF OHIO, THAT GODS TERTIARY STATE OF OHIO, THE CHARTER AND ORDINANCES, THE CHARTER AND ALL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS OR THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS THAT I WILL FAITHFULLY.

AND HONESTLY, I WAS PUTTING INTO IMPARTIALLY AND IMPARTIALLY DISCHARGE THE DUTIES, DISCHARGED THROUGH MY OFFICE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES, MY OFFICE, TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES.

[00:25:01]

STATE YOUR NAME PLEASE.

I DANIEL HOFF, DO YOU SOLEMNLY SWEAR OR AFFIRM YOU SILENTLY SWEAR OR AFFIRM OR AFFIRM TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES TO SUPPORT THE PROSTITUTION IN THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF OHIO, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF OHIO, THE CHARTER, AND ALL ORDINANCES, THE CHARTER AND ALL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS OF THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS, FAITHFULLY.

AND THAT I WILL FAITHFULLY HONESTLY, HONESTLY, PARTIALLY PARTIALLY DISCHARGE THE DUTIES, DISCHARGED THE DUTIES OF MY OFFICE TO INVEST IN MY, MY OFFICE, TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES.

SO HELP ME, GOD.

HENRY, ANYTHING STATE YOUR NAME PLEASE? JR.

DO YOU SOLEMNLY SWEAR OR AFFIRM, DO YOU SWEAR OR AFFIRM TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES? WHAT THE CONSTITUTION UNITED STATES, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF OHIO STATE, THE CHARTER AND ALL ORDINANCES, THE CHARTER AND THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS? I WILL FAITHFUL AND I WILL HONESTLY, HONESTLY, AND IMPARTIALLY DISCHARGE THE DUTIES OF MY OFFICE, MY OFFICE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING.

ALL RIGHT.

OKAY.

UM, NEXT TIME YOU GUYS, UM, LOOKING AT EXECUTIVE EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS, UH, THE PRESIDENT, UH, CHAIR AND THE VICE CHAIR.

UM, I GUESS WE NEED TO LOOK AT IT'S A NEW YEAR, SO WE NEED TO LOOK AT, UM, NOMINATIONS AND WHETHER OR NOT WE WANT TO NOMINATE AND JUST NOT, UM, LIEUTENANT ATTAIN, UM, NOMINATIONS, UH, CABINETS.

WE CAN TAKE NOMINATIONS FOR CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR, A FOOT A YEAR OF 2021.

AND I DON'T KNOW IF WE CAN JUST GO ON WITH THE SAME, UH, TWO, IF WE DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH A NOMINATION PROCESS.

I DON'T KNOW.

UM, DOES COMMISSION HAVE A I'D RATHER, DO WE WANT TO HAVE A HEY TONIGHT? UH, DO WE WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THE SAME TEAM, UH, FOR THE NEXT YEAR, BUT FOR 2021 SECOND.

OKAY.

WE HAVE A HYBRID AND A THIRD, UH, MAYBE WE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED, I HAVE A MOTION AND A SECOND TO, UH, STAY WITH THE TEAM THAT'S HERE.

UH, ALL IN FAVOR, SAY AYE, AYE.

ALL POSTED IN EIGHT.

AND YOU THINK THAT A CHAIR OR THE AYES HAVE IT.

SO, UM, WE'LL CONTINUE TO DO WE NEED TO TAKE A VOTE.

UM, ROBIN W WE, UH, WE'VE BEEN PICKED OUT, SO THE SECOND TEAM WILL STAY IN PLACE MOVING ONTO THE NEXT ISSUE, MEETING FREQUENCY, UM, LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF THE COVID RETURN, THESE ARE MEETINGS TO, UM, BI-MONTHLY AND AGAIN, DURING NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, WE HAD CHRISTMAS AND THANKSGIVING, SO WE DIDN'T HAVE MEETINGS CAUSE THEY WERE RIGHT ON THE DAYS OF OUR MEETINGS.

SO NOW WE NEED TO KNOW IF WE WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THAT OR A CHANGE AND GO BACK TO MONTHLY MEETINGS.

SO I'D LIKE TO GET A FORCED VOTE ON WHETHER WE WANT TO STAY WITH BIWEEKLY.

WELL, I'LL GET A MOTION TO NOT WHETHER WE WANT TO STAY WITH BIWEEKLY, BIMONTHLY OR MONTHLY.

UH, DO YOU HAVE A MOTION FOR, CAN WE DISCUSS IT FOR A SECOND? UH, YOU KNOW, I'M INCLINED TO GO MONTHLY BECAUSE OF THE AGGREGATED DATA OR, UH, PROCEDURES OR NEEDS

[00:30:01]

THAT ACCRUED TO THE COMMISSION.

AND I WOULD SAY, IS THERE A POSSIBILITY FOR US TO SAVE MONTHLY WITH THE OPTION OF CALLING SPECIALS WHEN SPECIAL CONDITIONS POP UP, SUCH AS THE STAY OR THE, UH, THE HONORING, UH, THE MEMORIAL WANT TO SPLIT IN THOSE KINDS OF THINGS PAID, YOU KNOW, FOR ALL I KNOW, AND TAKE WEEKLY MEETINGS OR, YOU KNOW, EVERY OTHER DAY FOR A WHILE.

AND I THINK IF YOU HAD THE OPTION TO CALL SPECIAL MEETINGS, THAT WOULD BE GREAT AND ATTEND TO THE DUTY.

SO I GUESS WHAT I'M SUGGESTING IS THAT THE COMMISSION WOULD KIND OF RUN, UH, FOR TRY IT OUT FOR THE NEXT YEAR ON A NEED SPACES, UH, OTHERWISE MONTHLY, UH, JUST TO BE SURE THAT WE DON'T LOSE TRACK OF, UH, ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE, OKAY, ANY OTHER PERMIT AND DISCUSSION.

SO IT'S BEEN A MOTION THAT WE, UM, LOOK AT MONTHLY MEETINGS AND OCCASIONAL SPECIAL NEEDS, AND THEN WE REQUIRE DO AWAY WITH THE BIBLES PLEASE.

SO THAT MEANS THAT WE WILL MEET AGAIN IN FEBRUARY ON THAT, UH, LIKE THE THIRD WEDNESDAY OF FEBRUARY AND CONTINUE TO HAVE ROUTINE ON UNTIL WE'VE FOUND A NEED TO CHANGE.

DO I HAVE A SECOND ON THAT MOTION? OKAY.

WE HAVE A SECOND.

SO WE HAVE A MOTION AND A SECOND ON MONTHLY MEETINGS AND ON THE SPECIAL NEEDS WHERE WE REQUIRE, UH, LIKE TO TAKE A VOICE, VOTE, ALL THOSE IN FAVOR, SAY AYE, AYE.

ALL THOSE OPPOSED TO THE NAME, UH, HEARING OTHER DAYS, I THINK, UH, THIS THING IN A CHAIR AT THE AYES HAVE IT.

SO WE'RE DONE, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE MONTHLY MEETINGS FROM THIS POINT ON.

AND SO FEBRUARY WE THINK THAT IS GOING TO BE FEBRUARY AND WEDNESDAY BE EITHER SECOND OR FOURTH, WEDNESDAY, SECOND OR FOURTH.

YOU SAID TO A FOURTH, FOURTH, WEDNESDAY OF EACH ONE.

THAT'S WHERE THE SCHEDULE HAS BEEN.

WE'LL CONTINUE THAT FORTHWITH SAY 24.

OKAY.

AND THE LAST TOPIC HERE BEFORE YOUR DURING COMMENTS IS THE, UM, I WAS APPROACHED WITH THE KERNEL, UH, FILE LOOKING AT IT.

YOU WERE HEIGHTS ON A GUARD, UH, FLOOR HEIGHTS, VETERANS.

UH, YOU LOOK AROUND, YOU SEE A LOT OF VETERANS WHO DON'T GET THE HONOR THAT THEY DESERVE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO HONOR CARD OR COLORED GUARD OR ANYTHING FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE OUT THERE.

IT'S NOT ENOUGH COLOR GUARD TO GET AROUND, TO DO THE THING.

SO WE FELT THAT MAYBE IF WE PUT TOGETHER ONE OF FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET ONE THAT WE CAN COUNT ON FOR SURE.

DO WE NEED TO LOOK AT THAT NOW? I DON'T KNOW IF WE NEED TO ANSWER THAT TONIGHT.

AND I DON'T MEAN TO THROW MY WRITE-UPS ON THAT.

I CAN SAY THOUGH, LET'S TABLE THAT FOR TONIGHT.

AND THEN LET'S DISCUSS MORE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THERE WAS A GROUP IN THE DAYTON GREATER AREA, AND THAT WAS GOING TO PUT TOGETHER BASICALLY A DAYTON AREA ON HER CAR.

AND WE COULD HAVE BEEN, WE COULD BE PART OF THAT.

OKAY.

I NEED TO GO BACK AND FIND THAT.

CAUSE I KNOW, UM, NANCY BERGE WAS THE ONE THAT KIND OF PRESENTED THAT TO US.

SO WE NEED TO REACH OUT AND, AND, AND LOOK AT IT AGAIN SO I CAN SUGGEST WE TABLE.

OKAY.

YEAH.

I THINK WE'RE ALL FOR TWO MINUTES JUST ON THAT, BECAUSE I AM INTIMATELY FAMILIAR WITH THE LOGISTICAL PROBLEMS AND THE PARAGRAPH CIGARS AND, UH, THE DIFFICULTIES FREQUENTLY KINDER.

AND I BELIEVE THAT IT'S, UH, IT'S, IT'S ALMOST LIKE MAKING A FOOTBALL TEAM IN A LOT OF WORDS ON THERE.

YOU GOT THIS, ALL THE KINDS OF THINGS THAT THEY HAVE TO GET TOGETHER AND PRETTY IMPORTANT, BUT, AND USUALLY THE BIGGEST, UH, FRONTAL ONE THAT IS HAVING THE PROPER IMAGE AND GETTING THE PRACTICE IN THE STAY THERE.

YES.

OKAY.

MOTION THAT WE TABLE THIS DISCUSSION FOR A LATER MEETING, AFTER SOME MORE INFORMATION AND RESEARCH IS DONE AND CURRENTLY YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR RESEARCH.

OKAY.

AND, UH, WE, UM, HAVE A FEEDBACK AND THEN THEY WILL MAKE A FINAL DECISION ON HOW WE PROCEED WITH THIS.

BUT THE GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE THE HONOR FOR OUR FUTURE HIKES VETERANS.

I MEAN, WE HELP OTHER VETERANS TOO, BUT I FUCK AS YOU KNOW, THE CHARITY STARTS AT HOME.

SO WE NEED TO MAKE SURE WE TAKE CARE OF OUR VETERANS.

UM, CAME WITH THAT SAID, UM, KINDA OFFICIAL,

[00:35:02]

UH, AGENDA.

I JUST, IF THE COMMISSION MEMBERS, ANYONE YOU'D LIKE TO HAVE A COMMENT BEFORE WE DEFINITELY DO RIGHT.

YOU GOT TO FIND THAT ANOTHER PIECE OF MAIL TODAY THAT SAID THAT CAN SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS, SEND ME SOME, YOU KNOW, AND, UH, I LOOKED, I DID MY DUE DILIGENCE.

I'VE LOOKED IT UP AND THE DEAD, YOU KNOW, ONE OUT OF FOUR STAR, IF YOU LOOKED AT THE ADMIN FEES, THEY WERE LIKE, OH, IN THE 80 PERCENTILE AND STUFF LIKE THAT.

AND IN ORDER TO MAKE LIFE LIFE EASY, I JUST THOUGHT I'D ASKED THE COMMISSION.

AND MANY OF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH ANY KIND OF REPUTABLE CLEARING HOUSE FOR THOSE ORGANIZATIONS.

SECOND REALLY STAYED WITH SOME DEGREE OF CREDIBILITY, WHETHER OR NOT ANY OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS ACTUALLY MERIT SUPPORT, BECAUSE IF WE WERE THE, IF WE WERE TO PROFFER, ANY OF THOSE, SAY TO THE NEWSLETTER AND TALKING ABOUT IT, AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE, UH, YOU KNOW, WACKY WORLD OUT THERE, THEN IT'S, UH, IT'S NOT A GOOD SENTENCE.

UH, SO ANYBODY, UH, CHARITY, BEGINNER AND CHARITY WATCH BOTH, UM, KIND OF LIKE THE, UM, I GUESS KIND OF THE TOP TIER, UH, ORGANIZATIONS TO KIND OF DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE MAKING A COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION.

UH, THEY USUALLY GIVE THEM A, UH, A LETTER RATING, UM, BASED OFF OF, UM, UH, HOW THEY ALLOCATE THEIR FUNDS.

YOU KNOW, HOW MUCH OF THAT GOES TOWARDS OVERHEAD JEREMY NAVIGATOR, CHARITY NAVIGATOR CHARITY WATCH WATCH THEY'RE TWO SEPARATE, UH, I BELIEVE NOT WORKS ANY PUBLISHING ANATOMIES ORGANIZATIONS FOR ANY REASON THAT WE GO OUT AND BE SURE WE VET THROUGH BALTIMORE BOWLS IN THE YIELD PAID TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO, UH, WHO ARE INCLINED TO MAYBE SUPPORT THEM KNOW ABOUT IT AND WHAT IT IS.

OKAY.

THANK YOU.

APPRECIATE IT.

ANY FURTHER COMMENTS FROM ANYONE ELSE? UM, HERE, UM, MOTION TO ADJOURN.

SECOND, I GOT A SECOND.
