[00:00:01]
I'M SORRY.SO WE'LL GO AHEAD AND GET THE MEETING STARTED.
BRIAN DADDY HERE, ALEX BLACK HERE.
CHRISTOPHER HALL, BLAKE HERSTEIN GLENN POTTINGER SIDNEY SMITH HERE.
IS THERE A MOTION TO EXCUSE? UH, SEE MATT AND CHRIS GLENN AND BLAKE.
WE'LL GO AHEAD AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT AGENDA ITEM HERE.
SO I HAVE NOT, WE HAVE A PRETTY LONG AGENDA TODAY, SO WE'LL JUST GO AHEAD AND MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT.
UH, ARE THERE ANY CITIZEN COMMENTS TODAY? OKAY.
NO CITIZEN COMMENTS, GOOD OLD BUSINESS, UH, PARK MANAGERS UPDATE, TAKE YOURSELF FROM IT.
HOW IS EVERYBODY TONIGHT? ALL RIGHT.
A COUPLE OF THINGS REAL QUICK.
AS YOU ALL HEARD, UM, WE LOST A PLAYGROUND AT COMMUNITY PARK, UM, DUE TO SOME ARSON.
UM, ALL WE KNOW RIGHT NOW, THEY HAVE SOME NAMES THAT'S ABOUT IT.
UM, SO WE'RE, UH, WE'RE WAITING TO HEAR INFORMATION ON THAT.
UM, HEARING BACK FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY, UNFORTUNATELY, 2002 PRICES ARE NOT THE SAME NOW.
SO THAT PLAYGROUND WENT FROM 30,000 TO 70,000.
UM, AND THAT'S TO REPLACE IT WITH EXACTLY WHAT WAS THERE AND WHAT WAS THERE WAS NOT ADA AND ALL THAT STUFF.
SO, UM, YOU KNOW, THINGS WE'VE GOT TO LOOK INTO.
SO, UM, WE'LL, UH, CITY STAFF AND I WILL LOOK INTO MORE OF THAT NEXT WEEK AND TO SEE WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN THERE.
UM, YOU KNOW, HAVE TO SEE HOW THAT CHANGES, UH, CIP PLAN, UM, YOU KNOW, PRIORITY LISTS, THINGS LIKE THAT.
WHAT IF ANYTHING WILL HAVE TO GET MOVED AROUND? SO WE ARE, UH, YOU KNOW, WE'RE STILL WAITING TO SEE, UH, YOU KNOW, WHAT COMES TO THAT.
THE PLAYGROUND HAS BEEN REMOVED.
INSURANCE TOLD US TO GO AHEAD AND YANK IT OUT.
UM, WE WERE ABLE TO SALVAGE A FEW PARTS OFF OF IT, AS FAR AS THE BORDER AND A HALF, THE PLAYGROUND WAS STILL GOOD.
SO WE TOOK THE BORDER AND THE RUBBER MULCH THAT WAS STILL GOOD.
AND THAT WENT TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER.
WE DUG OUT AROUND THE LITTLE PLAY SHELTER THAT WAS BY THE, UM, OR THE STRUCTURE THAT WAS BY THE SHELTER HOUSE, DUG IT OUT NICE AND WIDE, PUT NEW BOARD AROUND IT PUT ABOUT 12 INCHES OF RUBBER MULCH IN THERE.
SO THAT PLAYGROUND IS NOW, UM, YOU KNOW, BETTER USABLE AND, UH, AND SAFER OVER THERE.
SO, YOU KNOW, EVERYTHING, I GUESS THERE'S A SILVER LINING THERE SOMEWHERE.
JOSH, DO YOU KNOW WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THAT OR HOW MUCH OF THAT'S COVERED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY? I DON'T KNOW.
THAT'S A, THAT WAS THE DISCUSSION THAT WAS, UH, GONNA START TODAY, BUT, UH, EVERYBODY KIND OF WAS BUSY, SO WE'LL START THAT DISCUSSION BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK.
I DON'T WANT TO JUMP IN, MAKE SURE I'M DONE AHEAD OF MYSELF.
UM, SATURDAY IS THE, A SOFT OPENING FOR THE NEW, UH, THIS IS A LONG TITLE, THE HUBER BIKE AND SKATE PARK AT MONITA FIELD.
THAT'S WHAT WE'RE CALLING IT FOR NOW, UNTIL WE FIGURE OUT OTHER THINGS THE PUMP TRACKS HAD DONE.
UM, KIDS HAVE BEEN RIDING IT FOR GOING ON A WEEK AND A HALF NOW, UH, THE BMX TRACKS DONE, BUT WE HAD TO LET THE SOIL TACK HERE.
SO, UH, WE'RE GOING TO PULL THE FENCE DOWN FROM AROUND IT FRIDAY.
A SKATE PARK WILL HOPEFULLY BE DONE BY FRIDAY.
UM, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE, THEY WERE WRAPPING UP A COUPLE OF BIG THINGS TODAY AND EVERYTHING TOMORROW WAS JUST KIND OF PUTTING SOME SMALL STUFF TOGETHER AND BOLTON EVERYTHING DOWN.
UH, KIDS HAVE BEEN USING THAT AS WELL.
AS SOON AS THE FIRST HALF PIPE WAS DONE, THERE'S BEEN 30, 40 KIDS UP THERE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT USING THE PUMP TRACK, YOU KNOW, STAYING OUT OF THE WORKERS WAYS, BUT USING THE PARTS OF THE SKATE PARK THAT ARE USABLE.
SO IT'S DEFINITELY ALREADY GETTING USED.
I SPOKE TO A COUPLE OF GUYS, UM, YESTERDAY THEY DROVE UP FROM CHILLICOTHE TO RIDE THE PUMP TRACK, UM, BECAUSE THEY SAW IT ONLINE.
UM, SO, YOU KNOW, IT'S, IT'S DEFINITELY, THE WORD IS GETTING OUT.
IT'S ON THE NATIONAL PUMP TRACK REGISTRY.
SO PEOPLE WILL START PILING IN, UM, WITH SATURDAYS SOFT OPENING, UH, THE CHURCH NEXT DOOR IS GONNA DRAG OUT THEIR GRILL.
THEY'RE GRILLING HOT DOGS TO PASS OUT CHIPS, UH, DRINKS, THINGS LIKE THAT.
THERE, THEY ADDED SOME, UH, SOME PRIZES TO OUR RAFFLE THAT WE'RE DOING.
UM, TOMMY ZULAS BRINGING A BRAND NEW BIKE FROM DK THAT WE'RE GOING TO RAFFLE OFF.
UH, MIKE'S BIKE PARK, ONE LOVE SKATE PARK OR SKATE SHOP.
AND, UM, MIAMI VALLEY MOUNTAIN BIKE ARE ALL THROWN IN SOME RAFFLE ITEMS AS WELL.
SO, UH, WE'LL HAVE, UH, TONS OF STUFF OUT THERE FOR FAMILIES.
UM, CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL DONATED 60 OF THESE, UH, BMX AND SKATE HELMETS, THREE DIFFERENT SIZES, SMALL, MEDIUM, AND LARGE.
SO WE'RE GOING TO, WE'VE GOT A GROUP THAT, UM, HAS TRAINED ON FITTING THOSE.
UH, THEY'RE GOING TO BE THERE SATURDAY, MAKING SURE WE GET HELMETS ON KIDS'
[00:05:01]
HEADS, GET THEM FITTED CORRECTLY.UM, YOU KNOW, THAT'S OUR NUMBER ONE THING IS, UH, WE CAN'T FORCE THEM, BUT WE CAN, YOU KNOW, PROVIDE THEM WITH THEM AND HIGHLY ENCOURAGE IT.
AND WE'LL BE ABLE TO GET MORE OF THOSE WHEN WE DO OUR GRAND OPENING IN THE SPRING AS WELL, TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY'S TAKEN CARE OF.
UM, I PLAN ON KEEPING SOME IN MY TRUCK AND I'M SURE IT WILL BE THE SAME KIDS I'M GIVING THEM TO EVERY SINGLE TIME, BUT, UM, YOU KNOW, WE'LL, WE'LL, WE'LL DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THEM ALL, UH, TAKEN CARE OF.
UH, THAT'S AT ONE 30 SATURDAY, WE'D LOVE TO HAVE EVERYBODY OUT THERE WHO CAN BE THERE.
UM, ONE 30 TO THREE 30, UM, IT'S, YOU KNOW, TOMMY'S GOING TO DO A LITTLE SHOW FOR US ON THE PUMP TRACK AND THE BMX TRACK.
I KNOW MIKE'S BRINGING, UH, UH, HIS FREESTYLE TEAM.
THEY'RE GOING TO DO SOME STUFF ON THE SKATE PARK.
UM, SO IT'LL BE A GOOD TIME AND THEN WE'LL OPEN IT UP.
WE'RE GOING TO KIND OF SPLIT THE TRACK UP.
DO YOU KNOW, A HALF HOUR OF 12 AND UNDER, AND THEN A HALF HOUR AT 12 AND OLDER SO WAY.
UH, THOSE YOUNGER KIDS ARE MAYBE NOT AS EXPERIENCED KIDS, GET A CHANCE TO HOP ON THAT WITHOUT, YOU KNOW, WORRYING ABOUT PEOPLE, SPEEDING BY THEM OR RUNNING THEM DOWN.
UM, BUT I MEAN, IT'S, IT'S BEEN AMAZING TO SEE SOME OF THE KIDS OUT THERE AND, UM, HOW MUCH THEY'RE ENJOYING IT.
I MEAN, THEY'RE THERE EVERY DAY AFTER SCHOOL, ABOUT THREE O'CLOCK AND, AND THEY'RE THERE UNTIL THEIR PARENTS PICK THEM UP AT DARK.
SO IT'S ALREADY GETTING A LOT OF USE.
SO, UM, LAST THING I'LL COVER HERE IS WE DO HAVE, UM, THE SURVEY RESULTS FOR THE DIAL PARK AREA.
UH, THIS IS GOING TO BE A BRIEF OVERVIEW.
UH, WE'RE STILL GOING IN AND PULLING OUT SOME OF THE, YOU KNOW, FARTHER DOWN DATA AS FAR AS, UM, YOU KNOW, AMENITIES THAT PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO SEE OUT THERE.
UM, AND JUST KIND OF NARROWING THINGS DOWN A LITTLE TIGHTER.
SO FOR NOW LITTLE THINGS NOT WORKING HERE, ALL RIGHT.
YOU KNOW, JUST THE BASIC THING.
WE HAD 472 TOTAL RESPONSES, UM, FOR THE SURVEY, I DO HAVE THE BREAKDOWN OF HOW MANY OF THOSE WERE STREETS IN THE DIAL NEIGHBORHOOD.
AND HOW MANY OF THOSE WERE JUST ALL OVER THE NEIGHBORS ARE ALL OVER THE CITY.
UM, THE SUMMARY SAYS, YOU KNOW, HUBER HEIGHTS RESIDENTS, FREQUENT VISITORS, A LOCAL PARKS, AND ARE OVERALL SATISFIED WITH THE PARK SERVICES RESIDENTS AND THE NEIGHBORHOODS SURROUNDING DIAL HEARD MORE ABOUT THE PROPOSED TRAIL THAN RESIDENTS OF OTHER COMMUNITIES OR OTHER PARTS OF THE COMMUNITY.
UH, ALTHOUGH THE DEGREE OF THE SUPPORT WAS HIGHER AMONG RESIDENTS, NOT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, RESPONDENTS EXPRESS, MORE SUPPORT THAN OPPOSITION FOR THE PROPOSED TRAILS AND THE PROVISION OF MORE RECREATIONAL NATURAL SPACES IN THE COMMUNITY FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN TO ENJOY DROVE SUPPORT FOR THE PROPOSAL.
SO HERE'S KIND OF OUR BREAKDOWN OUT OF ALL THAT, UH, 448 OF THEM WERE HUBRIS ZIP CODE, UH, THAT LIGHT BLUE THAT ARE THE LIGHTEST BLUE, THAT 11 THAT'S A CARRIAGE TRAILS.
THAT'S AT FOUR OR 5, 3 71 THAT'S AT TIP CITY AREA UP THERE.
AND THEN OTHER, WE DID HAVE SOME FOREST RIDGE AND, UM, DO WHAT, YEAH, I THINK WE HAD FOREST RIDGE AND A COUPLE KIND OF ON THAT, THAT RIVERSIDE EDGE AS WELL.
BUT, UH, AS YOU CAN SEE, 95% OF EVERYTHING CAME FROM OUR AREA.
HERE'S ALL THE SURROUNDING STREETS AND THE DIAL PARK AREA THAT, UM, ON THERE, WHEN IT SAID, YOU KNOW, WHAT STREET DO YOU LIVE ON? WE HAD THEM, WE GAVE HIM THIS LIST OF STREETS AND THEY WENT JUST TO THE ONES THAT HAD THOSE STREET NAMES ON IT.
UM, WE DID HAVE, UH, 200 PLUS THAT HAD NO STREET NAME ON THEM.
SO THOSE ARE IN A WHOLE SEPARATE CATEGORY, JUST KIND OF, WELL, THEY'RE THROWN IN WITH THE OTHER.
UM, AND WE'LL GET TO THAT HERE IN A SECOND.
SO HERE'S, HERE'S OUR BREAKDOWN, 177 PEOPLE IN THE DIAL AREA.
UM, AND THEN EVERYTHING ELSE WAS OUTSIDE OF IT, INCLUDING THAT 295 IS, YOU KNOW, A GOOD CHUNK.
THOSE WERE THE ONES WITH NO STREET NAME AT ALL.
SO HERE'S OUR BREAKDOWN FOR, UH, IF YOU GO OFF OF THAT FIVE POINT SCALE AT AVERAGE, ABOUT THREE AND A HALF FROM THE DIAL PARK NEIGHBORHOOD, FOR THOSE THAT STRONGLY SUPPORT AND OUTSIDE OF THE DIAL AREA, IT CAME OUT TO ABOUT AVERAGE OF FOUR FOR STRONGLY SUPPORT OR WILL SUPPORT, I GUESS IF YOU COMBINE THE TWO AND THEN HERE'S A BETTER A BREAKDOWN OF KIND OF LIKE WHAT PEOPLE WOULD WANT TO SEE DEPENDING ON, YOU KNOW, DARK BLUE IS THAT'S MESSED UP.
SO DARK BLUE IS OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS DIAL IS THE SMALLER BLUE.
I HAD TO FIX THAT ON A COUPLE OF OTHER SLIDES AS WELL.
SO IT SHOWS THE DIFFERENT, YOU KNOW, WHAT NEIGHBORHOOD OR WHAT DIFFERENT PEOPLE SAID.
THEY WANTED TO SEE NATURE, PLAY AREA, SHELTER, HOUSE, PLAYGROUND, STRUCTURE, UM, YOU KNOW, SEVERAL WITH NO OPINION, SOME BASKETBALL COURTS.
AND THAT'S, THAT'S THE INFORMATION WE'RE DIVING DEEPER INTO.
JUST KIND OF SEE WHAT THE BREAKDOWN IS AS WELL.
AND, UH, GETTING MORE TIGHTER NUMBERS ON ALL THAT THIS, THIS SHOWS YOU, THAT PEOPLE IN
[00:10:01]
THE AREA THAT HAVE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN OR TAKE CARE OF KIDS IN THE AREA.UM, AGAIN, I THINK THOSE COLORS ARE WRONG.
I GOTTA REMEMBER TO GO BACK IN AND FIX THAT.
SO, UM, 60% ARE IN OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS, 59% ARE IN THE DIAL NEIGHBORHOOD THAT, THAT DO HAVE CHILDREN.
THERE'S THE AGE RANGES OF THE CHILDREN.
SO IT LOOKS LIKE THE MAJORITY ARE EIGHT TO 12 YEARS OLD, UH, WITH FIVE TO SEVEN KINDA, YOU KNOW, OUTSIDE OF THE AREA OF FIVE TO SEVEN AND THEN, UH, YOU KNOW, 13, 18 ALL OVER THE PLACE THERE.
SO THIS ONE HERE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A BETTER BREAKDOWN ON IT.
UM, THAT CAME OUT WITH THE ACTUAL, UH, THERE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ANOTHER PIE CHART LIKE THIS.
I'LL MAKE SURE THAT THAT GETS ADDED AND I'LL SEND IT TO EVERYONE ON THE BOARD.
AND WHEN WE PUBLISH THAT AS WELL AND SEND THAT TO COUNCIL.
BUT SO THAT WAS SHOWING WITH THAT, YOU KNOW, 59% ARE IN THAT SUPPORT RANGE.
AND THEN, UH, LET'S SEE IF I CAN DO THE MATH IN MY HEAD HERE REAL QUICK, 71%.
AM I RIGHT ON THAT FOR OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS OR IN SUPPORT OF SOMETHING AT DIAL, UM, THE TRAILS AND OR SOMETHING IN THE PROPERTY THERE.
SO ANY QUESTIONS, ANY QUESTIONS FOR JOSH? SO WHEN DO WE EXPECT, I GUESS THE FINAL REPORT TO BE DONE SO THAT WAY WE CAN START DISCUSSING AND MAKE IT, UH, MAKE A RECOMMENDATION.
UM, SARAH AND I HAVE A CHECKLIST OF OTHER THINGS.
WE WANT THEM TO GIVE US TIGHTER DATA ON THE WAY THEY REPORTED A LOT OF THINGS WITH THAT THREE PER, YOU KNOW, WHEN THEY JUST GAVE US THE NUMBER, THE AVERAGE NUMBER, WE'RE GETTING THEM TO CONVERT THAT STUFF INTO PIE CHARTS, WHERE IT HAS PERCENTAGES INSTEAD, THAT'S A LITTLE EASIER TO UNDERSTAND.
UM, SO WE'RE, WE'RE GETTING A BREAKDOWN OF THAT FROM THEM.
AND, UM, SOME OF THE OTHER DATA THEY COLLECTED WAS KIND OF GENERIC.
LIKE, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PARKS ON TUESDAYS? YOU KNOW, SORT OF STUFF.
IT WAS JUST KIND OF, SOME OF THE QUESTIONS DIDN'T SEEM TO BE, YOU KNOW, EVEN NEEDED IN THERE CAUSE THEY WEREN'T FOCUSED ON DIAL.
SO WE'RE JUST, WE'RE JUST SIFTING THROUGH SOME OF THAT STUFF, BREAKING THINGS DOWN A LITTLE BETTER.
SO WE HAVE EXACTLY WHAT, YOU KNOW, WE NEED TO KIND OF PUT TOGETHER A PLAN ON MOVING FORWARD.
SO I'M ASSUMING, UM, ONCE YOU ALL HAVE THAT DATA, YOU'LL COME BACK, PRESENT THAT HERE AND THEN THAT WILL GIVE US ENOUGH INFORMATION THAT THE BOARD CAN SORT OF SIT DOWN AND DISCUSS AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION FOR FOUR DIAL PART.
AND THEN THAT WAY I CAN RE I CAN PRESENT THAT RECOMMENDATION AROUND THE SAME TIME THAT YOU PRESENTED YOUR INFORMATION TO A CITY COUNCIL, CORRECT? YEAH, I WILL.
UM, I'LL PROBABLY GIVE THIS, EXCUSE ME.
QUICK OVERVIEW PRESENTATION TO CITY COUNCIL, JUST CAUSE I'M SURE THEY'RE JUST AS CURIOUS AS EVERYONE ELSE ON WHAT THE RESULTS ARE LOOKING LIKE.
UH, WE'LL GET THAT OTHER SLIDE ADDED IN THERE TOO.
THAT GETS THE BETTER BREAKDOWN OF THE PERCENTAGES, BUT YEAH, WELL I'LL PRESENT THIS TO COUNCIL AND THEN ONCE WE HAVE THE BETTER BREAKDOWN, I WOULD SAY HOPEFULLY BY JANUARY'S MEETING, WE'LL HAVE THAT AND, UH, BE ABLE TO BRING IT BACK TO THE BOARD.
ANY QUESTIONS? COMMENTS FOR JOSH.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING, UM, ONE OTHER QUICK THING.
SO THIS SMART BOARD THAT'S RIGHT HERE IS BEING REPLACED.
UM, AND THIS BOARD IS ACTUALLY GOING GO TO BE TAKEN DOWN TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER.
UH, WE FOUND A SPOT ON THE WALL AND KIND OF THE MAIN MEETING ROOM, UM, THAT ALREADY HAS A LOT OF THE WIRING AND HOOKUPS ON THE WALL FROM THE MEDIA SYSTEM THEY USED TO HAVE THERE.
SO BRANDON AND I ARE LOOKING AT UPGRADING SOME OF THAT.
THE BOARD IS GOING TO GO DOWN THERE SO WE CAN USE IT.
IF, IF GROUPS GET PRESENTATIONS, I KNOW THE CULTURE AND DIVERSITY CITIZENS ACTION COMMISSION HAS BEEN DOING MEETINGS DOWN THERE.
THIS WAY THEY CAN GIVE PRESENTATIONS.
IF SOMEBODY HAS A BIRTHDAY PARTY DOWN THERE, IT'LL HAVE THE CAPABILITY, YOU CAN HOOK A LAPTOP UP TO IT, DO A SLIDESHOW AND OR SHOW A MOVIE.
UM, WE'RE GETTING WIFI PUT DOWN THERE ALL FOR THE SAME USE FOR GROUPS TO COME IN.
AND, UM, HOPEFULLY BY THE END OF THIS WEEK, THE REST OF THE LIGHTING IN THE BUILDING WILL BE UPGRADED TO LED.
WE HAD THE GYMNASIUM DONE LAST YEAR.
CAUSE MOST OF THEM WERE BURNED OUT.
UM, THE OTHER BUILDING, WE WERE AT LIKE 80%.
SO I WAS WAITING FOR A FEW MORE OF THEM TO GO OUT AND WE'VE LOST A FEW MORE.
SO THEY'RE IN RIGHT NOW CONVERTING THE REST OF THAT TO LED, UH, PUTTING IN SOME, UH, MOTION SENSORS IN THE BATHROOMS. SO THEY AUTOMATICALLY COME ON AND THINGS LIKE THAT.
SO, UH, RIGHT NOW FOR THE YEAR WE'RE SITTING AT, WE'VE HAD 30 RENTALS, UH, FOR THE YEAR SO FAR.
UM, AND YOU KNOW, THINGS ARE ALREADY STARTING TO BOOK, UM, JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH OF NEXT YEAR.
I KNOW, UM, UH, ARTS AND BEAUTIFICATION IS USING IT.
UM, I BELIEVE VALENTINE'S WEEKEND, FEBRUARY 12TH.
[00:15:01]
DOING ANOTHER ART SHOW UP THERE.UM, THAT WAS A, A GREAT SUCCESS LAST YEAR.
UH, DEFINITELY SOMETHING WE WANT TO BRING UP AGAIN.
SO WE WILL, UM, PROBABLY ONCE WE GET THAT UP, IT'LL BE JANUARY.
WE'VE GOT TO WAIT UNTIL LAST COUNCIL MEETING OF THE YEAR BEFORE WE CAN TAKE IT DOWN AND MAKE THE SWAP.
SO WE'LL START, YOU KNOW, MAKING THAT AVAILABLE FOR USE HOPEFULLY AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.
SO WHEN I, I THINK IT'LL BE FUN TO HAVE THAT UP THERE, ESPECIALLY, YOU KNOW, WHEN WE GO TO START THE PROCESS OF FIGURING OUT WHAT WE WANT TO DO WITH THE COMMUNITY CENTER, WE CAN DO OUR PRESENTATIONS THERE.
SO THE PEOPLE IN THAT COMMUNITY CAN COME RIGHT TO THE BUILDING AND JUST SEE THE SPACE AND KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE MEAN WHEN WE TELL THEM WHAT WE'RE DOING.
SO, BUT, UH, HOPEFULLY THINGS CONTINUE TO GO WELL OVER THERE AND IT KEEPS GETTING USED.
ANY QUESTIONS FOR JOSH COMMENTS? YES.
GLENN, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS HAVING THE LIVE STREAM.
WELL, I CAN, UM, I'LL ASK, WE CAN ASK THE QUESTION BECAUSE EVERYBODY WEAR GOPROS OR SOMETHING.
I DON'T THINK THERE'S A REQUIREMENT FOR US TO BE, TO HAVE IT LIVE.
IT THERE'S A REQUIREMENT FOR US TO PRESENT MINUTES.
UM, I MEAN THE SPACES, THE SPACE IS SO GREAT OVER THERE.
I, EVERY TIME I WALK IN THE BUILDING, I'M JUST, YOU KNOW, UM, I'M OVERJOYED THAT IT'S A SPACE WE HAVE, THAT PEOPLE ARE USING.
UM, I HAD EIGHT PEOPLE THIS WEEK ALL CALLED TO RESERVE THE EXACT SAME DAY.
SO, UM, I MEAN THE WORD IS GETTING OUT.
WE HAVE A FAMILY ACTUALLY RENTING BOTH ROOMS FOR THANKSGIVING DAY CAUSE THEY DON'T WANT EVERYBODY AT THEIR HOUSE.
SO THEY SAID, HEY, WE'RE GONNA, WE'VE GOT 30 OF US COMING.
THEY'RE GOING TO PUT THE KIDS IN SOME STUFF IN ONE ROOM FOR THE KIDS TO DO.
AND YOU KNOW, THEY'RE JUST GOING TO HAVE A DAY THERE.
SO, YOU KNOW, IT'S A, IT'S REALLY GETTING USED AND PEOPLE LOVE HAVING THE SPACE THERE AND YOU CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE PRICE.
SO JOSH, CAN WE RESERVE IT FOR FEBRUARY, FOR HOUR, UM, OR MEETING? UM, YEAH, IF IT'S AVAILABLE.
UM, I DON'T, I DON'T KNOW THAT FAR AHEAD WHAT THE DATE IS.
SO I IMAGINE IT'S PROBABLY WHAT THE 16TH, 17TH, THE 12TH IS A SATURDAY VALENTINE'S IS ON MONDAY.
I'LL UH, OR IF YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH THE OFFICIAL RESERVATION PROCESS THROUGH H H O H.ORG.
I'LL UH, YEAH, I'LL GET IT TAKEN CARE OF BLOCKING OFF.
AND THAT WAY, UM, IF WE'RE READY TO GO AHEAD AND I THINK IN FEBRUARY, WE'LL BE READY TO GO AHEAD AND START DISCUSSING ANY WAY WE CAN, WE CAN HAVE IT DOWN THERE.
IT'S EITHER FEBRUARY OR MARCH.
WE'LL SEE WHICH ONE'S AVAILABLE.
UH, WHY, WHY YMCA UPDATE CHRIS? UH, I DON'T HAVE MUCH FROM, UH, THE PAST MONTH.
UH, THE ONE THING THAT DID OCCUR SINCE OUR LAST MEETING, UM, IT DID PASS CITY COUNCIL TO GO AHEAD AND, UM, UH, ALLOCATE THE FUNDS TO PAINT THE SLIDE TOWER IN TWO SLIDES AT THE AQUATIC CENTER IN THE SPRING.
SO, UH, RODNEY, MY FACILITIES GUY, UM, WENT AHEAD AND GOT, UM, BAIN, UM, UH, WHO WILL BE DOING THE WORK THAT, UH, TIME'S RESERVED.
UM, SO WE WILL GET THAT GOING LATE APRIL EARLY MAY, UM, TO BE PREPARED FOR A MEMORIAL DAY OPENING.
SO, UM, THAT, UH, THAT'S REALLY THE ONLY THING THAT'S BEEN GOING ON.
THERE'S SOME WORK TO BE DONE ON THE FLOOR, ON THE TIMBER FLOOR AT THE Y YEAH.
NEXT MONTH THE GYM IS THE GYMNASIUM FLOOR IS CLOSED.
WE'RE HAVING TO SAND IT BACK DOWN TO BARE WOOD, UM, NEW LINES AND RESEALED.
SO IT'LL BE CLOSED PRETTY MUCH THROUGH THE END OF THE MONTH.
CHRIS, QUICK QUESTION FOR YOU.
ARE YOU GUYS GETTING, I KNOW WHEN WE HAD MET UP THERE, THE OVERHANG UNDER PAYING, WHATEVER YOU WOULD CALL IT OF THE ONE BUILDING NEEDED STAIN STEEL.
HOW HAVE WE HAD ANY? WE HAVE NOT, BECAUSE I THINK AT THE TIME WE TALKED THAT YOU WERE LOOKING TO GET SOMETHING SIMILAR DONE AT THE AMPHITHEATER AND YOU WERE GOING TO TRY TO DO THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.
OH, JUST SEND ME A MESSAGE TOMORROW WHO WE'VE USED IN THE PAST OR IF THAT WAS SOMETHING MIKE.
I'LL GET WITH MIKE THEN WE'LL UH, WE'LL TRY TO GET BOTH OF THOSE SCHEDULED FOR FIRST THING IN THE SPRING.
CAUSE THE ONES DOWN AT THE LOWER PUMP HOUSE THEY DO NEED TO BE TAKING CARE OF AND I'M SURE THEY PROBABLY NEED SOME HOLES SEALED IN THEM FROM THE CARPENTER BEES AS WELL.
ANY MORE QUESTIONS FOR CHRIS? ALL RIGHT.
SIDNEY A UPDATE ON THE DUB PER POWERADE.
UM, SO THE FIRST ONE, IT WENT GREAT.
UH, ON THE 29TH, WE WERE RAINED OUT.
SO WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE LAST MINUTE FOR THE NEXT DAY.
[00:20:01]
JUDGES MORE VOLUNTEERS THAN I ORIGINALLY PLANNED HAD CAME.SO I KNOW FOR NEXT TIME, HOW MANY VOLUNTEERS ALL NEED, UM, WE HAVE A SET BUDGET AND I STILL HAVE SOME LEFTOVER, UM, DECORATIONS FOR NEXT YEAR.
AND LET'S SEE, UH, I DO KNOW ORGANIZATIONS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BEING INVOLVED NEXT YEAR, EVEN THOUGH THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT OUT THIS YEAR.
SO, UM, IT'S GOOD TO KNOW THIS FOR NEXT YEAR.
UH, WHAT WAS THE ATTENDANCE NUMBER TO 41 PARTICIPANTS? YEAH.
UM, WE ONLY HAD SIX PEOPLE COME, BUT WE HAD 26.
SIX DOGS, BUT 27, I THOUGHT YOU GOING TO SAY SIX PEOPLE, $27 WE'RE CHARGING NEXT YEAR.
NO, WE HAD, UM, 27 PEOPLE RESERVE, BUT ONLY SIX PARTICIPANTS.
YEAH, BECAUSE I THINK THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE THAT CAME OR THE PEOPLE I KNOW I SAW SOME PEOPLE COME THE FIRST DAY THAT DIDN'T COME THE SECOND DAY.
SO, UM, IF, IF YOU HAVE THOSE DECORATIONS LEFT, IF YOU WANT TO DROP THEM TO ME, WE CAN GET THEM PUT IN A STORAGE TOTE.
I'M GOING TO GET SOME SHELVES PUT IN AND ONE OF THE OFFICES AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER, SO WE CAN START KEEPING STUFF LIKE THAT UP THERE, THAT WAY.
YOU'RE NOT HAVING TO KEEP TRACK OF IT AND WE KNOW WHERE IT IS FOR THE YEAR.
AND THEN, UM, WE'LL TALK ABOUT THE BUDGET AND THEN WE'LL REQUEST IT FROM JOSH FOR NEXT DAY STUFF.
SO, UM, I KNOW GLENN AND MYSELF AND CHRIS, UM, ALL ATTENDED AND I WOULD SAY IT WAS A GOOD EVENT.
IN FACT, EVEN PUT THOSE, UM, THOSE, UH, INDIVIDUALS AND DOGS DID NOT PARTICIPATE.
UM, SOME OF THE LEFTOVER, UH, TENNIS BALLS THAT JOSH HAD PURCHASED FOR THE GRAND OPENING, UM, UH, MRS. OTTO, UM, PROVIDED SOME TUGS.
UM, YOU ALL WENT OUT AND GOT SOME COOKIES AND THEN THEY MADE THESE LITTLE GOODY BAGS WON.
SO, UM, I WOULD SAY WAS A VERY GOOD EVENT FOR OUR FIRST ONE.
WE HAD SOME GREAT PHOTOS, UM, SOME GOOD PHOTOS.
UM, AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO IT NEXT YEAR.
AND WE GO AHEAD AND LOOK AT ACCOUNT, UH, DATE.
SO THAT WAY WE CAN JUST THROW IT ON THAT, ON THE CALENDAR NOW.
UM, AND MOVING FORWARD, GLENN.
SO WITH HAVING A SET DAY THAT STILL GIVES US ROOM TO RESCHEDULE IF IT HAPPENS TO RAIN.
SO THIS TIME I WOULD SAY MY RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO IDENTIFY A DATE AND THEN TO HAVE A RAIN DATE OR A WEEK LATER, MAYBE A RAIN DAY, JUST IN CASE THAT WOULD BE MY RECOMMENDATION ON IT.
SO IF WE SEE RAIN AT ALL FOR THAT DAY, SHOULD WE JUST GO AHEAD AND BECAUSE I JUST ASSUMED THAT IT WAS OHIO WEATHER, WE WOULDN'T GET RAIN AND HE HAS, I HAVE A POLICY FOR CONCERTS.
YOU GOTTA, YOU GOTTA START LOOKING AHEAD.
IF YOU'RE UNDER 40%, 40% OR UNDER YOU DON'T CANCEL SOMETIMES 50%, YOU GOTTA LOOK AT THE HOURLY AND SEE, I MEAN, WE HAD, YOU KNOW, A CONCERT TWICE WE CANCELED THIS YEAR AND NEITHER TIME IT RAINED, BUT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LIKE 80% CHANCE, BUT IS THAT SILLY ABOVE 70 SPLIT THAT WE GET HERE IN HEBREW THAT JUST MISSED US.
YOU JUST KIND OF IT'S IT'S WEIRD.
I WOULD SAY LET'S GO AHEAD AND LOOK AT, WE'LL GET A DATE, UM, AND START LOOKING AT WORKING IT.
ANY QUESTIONS FOR SYDNEY? ALL RIGHT.
SO WE'LL GO AHEAD AND MOVE ON TO NEW BUSINESS HERE.
THE CITY OF HUBER HEIGHTS, PARKS AND RECREATION PROCEDURES.
NOW, DID EVERYONE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THE CURRENT DOCUMENT? NOW? IT HASN'T CHANGED IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.
SO, SO FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE READ IT IN 2000, 19 AND 18 AND BACK, UM, THE INFORMATION IS STILL THE SAME.
SO WHAT I WOULD SAY ARE, UM, ARE THERE ANY COMMENTS EDITS OR CHANGES THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND BRIAN? NO.
GLEN SYDNEY, NO WAKE DENNIS AND BRIAN.
[00:25:01]
YOU'RE RIGHT.SO ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I WOULD SAY SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CONCESSION STAND IS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, WE HAD A LONG DISCUSSION ABOUT THE NEED TO HAVE SAFE, UM, SERVE SAFE, UH, SO CERTIFICATION, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE SERVING HOT FOOD.
SO I WOULD SAY THAT THIS, THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO THE REQUIREMENTS.
IF THEY'RE GOING TO, IF THEY'RE GOING TO RESERVE THE CONCESSION STAND FOR HOT FOODS, IT ALREADY IS A REQUIREMENT.
WE REQUIRE THEM TO HAVE A SERVSAFE CERTIFICATION.
IT'S JUST NOT PART OF THE PACKET THEY FILL OUT.
BUT IT SHOULD BE PART OF THAT PACK.
SO I WOULD SAY LET'S ADD THAT IN THERE TO THE PRIME AND TO THE APPLICATION ON THE BACK.
IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, IT JUST HAS TO BE ONE PERSON IN THEIR ORGANIZATION THAT HAS IT, UM, AT THE AQUATIC CENTER WERE S UH, SEARCH SAFE LEVEL TWO.
UM, SO, UM, MY SPORTS DIRECTOR WHO ALSO MANAGED THE CONCESSION STAND IN THE SUMMER IS MY CERTIFIED INDIVIDUALLY.
SO IT JUST HAS TO BE ONE PERSON IN THE ORGANIZATION.
I KNOW WITH SOCCER FOR A WHILE, WAS A GENTLEMAN FROM FREAKER'S WHO INSTILLS HIS SOUL.
JOHN HE'S LIKE THE HIGHEST SORT OF SAYING CERTIFICATION.
AND I'M NOT SURE WITH SOFTBALL HAS ONE TOO.
I MADE SURE I DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS, BUT, AND THEY HAVE TO HAVE THAT, OR ELSE THEY WILL NOT, THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO OPEN AND SERVE.
AND THE CERTIFICATE HAS TO BE PRESENT, UM, IN THE CONCESSION STAND SO THAT THE HEALTH INSPECTOR CAN SEE IT, WHICH IF I HAD TO GUESS PROBABLY BRIAN IS THE, IS HE THE HEALTH INSPECTOR THAT COMES AND VISITS? I THINK WE HAVE A NEW ONE CAUSE BRIAN'S OUR GUY AT THE Y, SO, OKAY.
I, I THOUGHT THEY'D SAID IT HAS GOTTEN SOMEBODY NEW, BUT MAYBE NOT.
SO, UM, BUT YEAH, THAT HAS TO BE DISPLAYED SO THAT IT'S ON FILE AND THAT, THAT COST IS, IS FRONT END BY THE ORGANIZATION.
THAT'S NOT A, A CITY I KNOW IN THE PAST, I THINK WE HAVE IN SOME DIRE SITUATIONS, GOT PEOPLE CERTIFIED.
UM, BUT NOW THAT IS, THAT IS THE ORGANIZATION'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DO THAT.
UM, SO MY SECOND EDIT, THIS IS PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO BE A CONVERSATION IT'S ON PAGE TWO, UM, OR AT THE LAST, UH, THE THIRD FROM THE LAST BULLET HERE WHERE IT TALKS ABOUT THE CONCESSION STAND, UM, USER GROUP, USER GROUPS, AND LEAKS MAY BE PERMITTED TO USE THE CONCESSION STAND.
THAT THOMAS CALLED PART PERMISSION IS GIVEN ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.
UM, AND USER GROUP, USER GROUPS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ELECTRICITY COSTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $220 PER MONTH TO COVER THEIR USES OF, OF ELECTRICITY.
I THINK $220 A MONTH IS WAY TOO.
WELL, I THINK NOW THAT WE'VE HAD THIS DISCUSSION EARLIER, AND NOW THAT I'M LOOKING AT IT, I BET THAT WAS BASED OFF OF THE OLD CONCESSION STAND THAT HAD LIKE GRINDER PUMPS AND EVERY, IT WAS ALL ELECTRIC AND NOT EFFICIENT AT ALL.
UM, SO I'M, I'M THINKING THAT WAS BASED OFF OF THE OLD BUILDING.
IF THAT'S JUST SOMETHING THAT HASN'T BEEN TOUCHED IN A LONG TIME, CAUSE THIS DOCUMENT I WANT TO SAY ORIGINATED 2004, MAYBE I THINK WAS THE EARLIEST COPY I HAVE FOUND.
SO WE STILL HAD THE CONCESSION STATE.
WELL, WE DIDN'T HAVE IT THEN, BUT, UM, WE'VE HAD, WE'VE HAD A SENSE OF NINE.
SO, SO, SO THE AMOUNT HERE I WOULD SAY DEFINITELY IS WAY TOO MUCH BECAUSE MY ELECTRIC BILL ISN'T THAT HIGH AND IT'S RARELY, IT'S PROBABLY USED MAYBE, I MEAN, JUST RUNNING IT'S ON ALL THE TIME.
SO, UM, I WOULD SAY WE DO ONE OR TWO THINGS EITHER GET RID OF IT COMPLETELY THE FEE, OR WE REDUCE IT FOR THE SEASON TO A REASONABLE AMOUNT.
DO THEY, DO THEY KEEP, YEAH, SO SOFTBALL HAS, UM, A REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER RUNNING OR TWO FREEZERS AND I THINK SOCCER HAS THE SAME THING AND THEY'RE SEASONED.
SO THERE IS ALWAYS ELECTRIC THERE FOR THOSE ELEMENTS.
UM, AND THEN, YOU KNOW, ON THE DAYS THAT THEY'RE IN THERE, OBVIOUSLY, YOU KNOW, LIGHTS ARE ON AND UM, I THINK, DO YOU GUYS HAVE, IS IT YOU GUYS THAT HAS THE HOT DOG THING OR IS THAT WE, WE HAVE THE RE-DO HAVE A HOT, WE DIDN'T USE IT THIS YEAR.
SO, I MEAN, YOU'VE GOT OTHER APPLIANCES SLUSHY MACHINE.
YOU GOT SO, YOU KNOW, WHILE YES, I AGREE WITH VINCE, THAT'S RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY PER MONTH.
[00:30:01]
TOO HIGH, BUT I'M TRYING TO THINK IF WE CAN SOMEHOW, CAUSE YOU DIDN'T GET THAT KIND OF MISSION THERE.WELL, WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE'RE PAYING.
I MEAN, WE, THAT BILL IS ITEMIZED FOR CLOUD PARK.
IT GOES, WE GET AN ELECTRIC BILL FOR THE LIGHT POLE AT ONE END OF THE PARK.
WE GET ELECTRIC BILL FOR THIS BUILDING.
SO I MEAN, WE CAN PULL THAT FOR THE YEAR AND SEE WHAT IT IS.
UM, WELL, AND, AND THE OTHER DISCUSSION THAT VINCE AND I HAD, WE, WE ADDED WIFI TO THAT BUILDING AS WELL.
UM, FOR CARD READERS, I KNOW SOFTBALL USED THAT THIS YEAR, SOCCER PROBABLY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT BECAUSE I FORGOT TO TELL THEM, UM, WELL WE, WE JUST, WE USED, UH, LIKE VENMO AND YEAH.
STUFF LIKE THAT, BUT, YOU KNOW, SO THAT'S ONE OF THOSE CALLS, SOFTBALL PAID THAT THIS YEAR, FOR THE MONTHS THEY WERE THERE, THEY PAID THE WIFI BILL.
UM, SO YOU KNOW, IT MAY BE ONE OF THOSE THINGS WHERE WE JUST PUT A FLAT FEE FOR THE YEAR THAT COVERS THEIR SEASON FOR WIFI AND COVERS.
YOU KNOW, YOU CAN ALMOST PUT THE SAME AMOUNT FOR THE INTERNET USAGE AS YOU DO FOR THE ELECTRIC AND CALL IT A DAY.
UM, AND I THINK THE INTERNET, IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN WAS 50, I BELIEVE.
SO YOU'RE TALKING FOR FOUR MONTHS THAT THEY'RE THERE, THEY'RE PAYING 200 BUCKS FOR THE INTERNET.
UM, YOU KNOW, SO YEAH, I MEAN, I GUESS, I MEAN, WE HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE OF ONE OF THE USER GROUPS HERE.
UM, I MEAN, WHAT, WHAT'S YOUR THOUGHT ABOUT, OBVIOUSLY NOT REENACTING THAT FEE AS A PER MONTH BASIS, BUT JUST AS A FLAT FEE FOR THE USAGE.
I MEAN, IT WAS FUNNY BECAUSE WHEN THIS CAME UP, I DID, WHEN VINCE EMAILED IT, I SAID, I WENT TO, YOU KNOW, I POSTED ON OUR GROUP CHAT AND THE ONE THING THAT PEOPLE BROUGHT UP WAS LIKE $220 A MONTH.
THAT'S THE ONE THING THEY DID LIKE REALLY, BUT YEAH, JUST A FLAT FOR THE SEASON.
CAUSE EVEN SOFTBALL THERE, THERE ARE SEASONS WHERE LIKE THREE MONTHS, TWO, THREE MONTHS, OURS IS LIKE TWO, THREE MONTHS.
I THINK THERE'S THIS TECHNICALLY FOR AREN'T THEY APRIL TO THEY USE, BUT THEY'RE HARDER THEY'RE SEASON WITH THE RACK AND ALL THAT STUFF AS YOU KNOW, BUT YEAH, A FLAT, A FLAT FEE WITH, YOU KNOW, WE'LL BE FINE WITH IT.
I MEAN IT, YOU KNOW, THE WAY YOU LOOK AT IT, IT'S ALMOST WHAT CHRIS HAD WOULD PROBABLY BE AN EXTRA COUPLE MONTHS.
IT WOULD BE LIKE AN EXTRA COUPLE OF MONTHS OF ONE FIELD, ESSENTIALLY.
AND YOU LOOK AT, MOST OF THEM ARE 200 A FIELD JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT, WHAT YOU WANT TO PUT.
I MEAN, IF YOU, IF YOU KNEW IT WAS, IF YOU SAID WE'RE GOING TO CHARGE $75 PER MONTH, THAT YOU USE THE CONCESSION STAND TO COVER ELECTRICITY AND WIFI, IF IT'S $50 AND YOU'RE CHARGING 25 FOR ELECTRICITY, YOU SAY FOR EVERY MONTH THAT YOU'RE DOWN THERE AND YOU'RE GOING TO USE THE CONCESSION STAND, IT'S GOING TO BE A $75 CHARGE.
YOU KNOW, THAT, THAT WOULD GET YOU.
I MEAN, THAT'S EASY TO PUT IN AND YEAH.
AND I MEAN, MOST OF THEM KNOW, I MEAN USUALLY AUGUST ONE, THEY'RE TURNING THE KEYS OVER TO YOU GUYS.
SO REALLY, YOU KNOW, MADE FOUR MONTHS FOR SOFTBALL, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, THREE MONTHS FOR SOCCER.
I MEAN, IT'S, IT'S PRETTY MUCH, IT'S 300.
300 FOR FOUR MONTHS AND 2 25 TO 25 FOR YEAH.
SO, AND YOU KNOW, AT, YOU KNOW, THAT'S OBVIOUSLY JUST A SPIT BALL NUMBER.
I MEAN, YOU KNOW, YOU GUYS DECIDE, I DIDN'T, I DON'T THINK CHRIS AND I ARE REALLY CARRY THE WAY, UM, YOU KNOW, THAT MONEY IS GOING TO GO RIGHT BACK INTO UPGRADES FOR THE BUILDING.
CAUSE WE GOT SOME UPGRADES WE GOT TO DO THIS YEAR ANYWAY.
IT'S NOT CHEAP TO KEEP UPGRADING.
THERE'S LIKE ELECTRIC LIGHT, YOU KNOW, THERE'S ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHEN YOU'RE GOING TO KEEP ON POPPING BREAKERS FOR LIKE OUR MICROWAVE'S ARE YOU IN SOFTBALL HAS THE SAME ISSUE.
I KNOW THAT WAS ONE OF THE UPGRADES.
AND THEN ANOTHER WAS POSSIBLY CUTTING A HOLE IN THE BRICK WALL AND PUTTING A EXHAUST FAN IN.
CAUSE IT GETS REALLY HOT IN THERE.
NOT AS THE BEGINNING OF YOUR SEASON.
NO, THAT SOFTBALLS IN THERE MAY TO AUGUST.
SO YOU CAN IMAGINE IT'S, IT'S IT COOKS IN THERE.
AND EVEN WITH THE CONCESSION, YOU KNOW, THE WINDOW OPEN AND THE DOOR OPEN, YOU KNOW, YOU'VE GOT FREEZERS AND REFRIGERATORS PUTTING OFF HEAT, YOU'VE GOT MICROWAVE'S HOT DOG, YOU KNOW, STUFF, POPCORN MACHINE, ALL THAT PUTTING OFF EAT.
SO, AND THERE WAS NO AC IN THE BUILDING.
SO, YOU KNOW, JUST PUTTING AN EXHAUST FAN AND THEY'LL SUCK SOME OF THAT HEAT OUT.
AND UH, CAN WE FEEL IN CONTROL THE BEES? NO.
WE HAD A CLOSE CONCESSION STATE A COUPLE OF TIMES BECAUSE OF THE BEES GOT TWO AND SAYING, YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU'RE DUMPING SUGAR WATER IN THE TRASHCAN, THERE'S NOT MUCH WE CAN DO ABOUT THAT.
AND SLUSHIES IN THE TRASHCAN ARE GOING TO ATTRACT BEES, MOVE THE TRASH CANS TO THE PARKING LOT.
SO ANYTHING ELSE MOVED DOWN HERE? THAT'S JUST A REAL QUICK QUESTION.
UM, AS FAR AS THE FEE SCHEDULE, THOSE FEES THAT COME IN FOR EACH OF THESE RESPECTIVE SPORTS,
[00:35:01]
DOES THAT APPLY TO THE GENERAL FUND OR DOES THAT GO SPECIFICALLY BACK TO THAT? IF IT'S A BASEBALL RENTAL, DOES IT GO BACK TO BASEBALL? IF AT SOCCER, DOES IT GO TO THE SOCCER FIELDS? SO THE WAY IT WORKS IS USER GROUPS LIKE REC SOCCER WILL COME TO THE Y BRIAN WILL BRING ME A SHEET, HE'LL BRING PAYMENT.I PUT IT IN, UM, IT GOES INTO A CUSTODY ACCOUNT ON THE WHY SIDE OF THINGS.
AND THEN IN NOVEMBER, WHICH I DID LAST WEEK, I WILL SUBMIT A CHECK REQUEST, UM, FOR THE CHECK TO BE, COME FROM THE Y THAT'LL THEN COME TO JIM BELL.
WHO'S THE FINANCE DIRECTOR OF THE CITY NOW WHERE JIM DOES WITH IT.
AFTER THAT THAT'S, THAT'S, THAT'S, THAT'S THE ANSWER TO BOTH QUESTIONS IS YES.
UM, IT GOES INTO THE GENERAL FUND AND YOU KNOW, MY BUDGETS FROM THE GENERAL FUND.
SO I MEAN, YES, IT'S COMING BACK.
IT'S NOT GOING DIRECTLY, HEY, WE'RE DEPOSITING THIS INTO A PARK ACCOUNT.
BUT YOU KNOW, IT'S ALL THE SAME POT OF MONEY.
UM, YEAH, SO WE, YES, WE DO GET OUR YEARLY ALIMONY CHECK FROM, UH, FROM THE Y.
AND, AND HOW MUCH IS THIS SPLIT? IT'S A 75.
FOR USER GROUPS OF 75, 25 TO THE CITY.
JUST SO WE'RE CLEAR IN THE SHELTER IS A 50 50.
SO THOSE ARE REALLY MY ONLY TWO BIGGEST COMMENTS ARE THOSE.
UM, SO I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE FEES AND WHAT YOU ALL THINK, BUT I'LL GO TO DENNIS NEXT.
DID YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS WE'RE JUST LOOKING AT? UH, NO FEES SEEM, SEEM REASONABLE.
I MEAN, I KNOW MAYBE IN THE NEXT YEAR OR TWO WITH INFLATION.
WELL, THERE, THERE ARE A COUPLE THAT PROBABLY NEED ADJUSTED, BUT YOU KNOW, I'LL LET YOU GUYS TALK FIRST AND THEN I'LL PUT MINE IN BRIAN.
IS THERE A WAY ON THIS FORM? I MEAN, YOU MENTIONED THAT THE LAST UPDATE MIGHT'VE BEEN WHATEVER, IS THERE A WAY TO PUT, YOU KNOW, EDIT IN ON NOVEMBER, 2021 SO THAT, YOU KNOW, WHEN THE LAST, YEAH, IT'S PRETTY, PRETTY SIMPLE.
I JUST PULLED THE WORD DOCUMENT AT IT.
I UPDATED EVERY YEAR WITH, UM, JUST TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS RIGHT WITH CONTACT INFORMATION.
SO THAT'S THE BIG THING REAL FAST, CHRIS, JUST, UM, SO WE'RE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE.
ARE WE SELECT FOR THE SOCCER FIELDS? ARE WE CHARGING A SEPARATE PRICE? AS IT STATED HERE, 600 FOR THE LARGER FIELDS, 300 FOR THE SMALLER FIELDS.
AND I KNOW LIKE, UM, FIELDS ONE AND TWO, WELL, I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY'RE NOT ALL TOGETHER BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL THE SAME PRICE.
SO I GUESS THAT CAN ALL BE, WE WERE THE BIGGER FIELDS WE HADN'T.
SO THAT'S WHY THEY WERE DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY WERE THE BIGGER OH.
CAUSE I THINK FEEL TOO USED TO BE A BASEBALL DIAMOND.
BUT SEE THEN WHEN WE DID THAT, THAT'S WHEN WE ENTERED THAT FIRST AGREEMENT TWO YEARS AGO WITH SOFTBALL.
SO REMEMBER HOW WE HAD THE FIRST AGREEMENT JUST FOR SOFTBALL, THE, UH, WHATEVER WE CALLED IT.
SO IT WAS ALL JUST ROLLED INTO ONE, ONE PAYMENT.
SO WHICH FOR THEM NEXT YEAR WILL BE MUCH MORE CAUSE THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE ALL 10 FIELDS AT CLOUD PLUS, WELL, THEY'LL HAVE NINE OF THE 10 AND CLOUD AND THEN TWO OF THEM ANITA, BUT YEAH.
SO LIKE WHEN BRIAN TURNS IN HIS STUFF, IT'S ALL BASED OFF OF WHICH FIELDS HE'S USING.
BRIAN NORMALLY IS BETWEEN FIELDS TOO.
YOU'RE YOU'RE MAINLY AROUND FIELD TWO AND THREE.
AND THAT'S WHERE MOST OF YOURS IS MOSTLY THE SMALLER FIELDS IS WHERE YOUR LARGE GROUPS THAT CORRECT.
NOW I CLUB OHIO, UM, THAT IS DOWN THERE ON THE FRONT.
WHEN YOU FIRST COME IN, THEY USE 15, A AND 15 B NOPE, 12, 13, 12 TO 13.
SO, AND THEN IF WE'RE LOOKING AT THE PRICE OF THE FIELDS BASED ON LIKE, SO THIS SAYS ALL DAY SOCCER TOURNAMENT, $1,300.
IF YOU BREAK THAT DOWN, THAT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT, YOU KNOW, PER FIELD.
SO, UM, I MEAN, I DON'T, YOU KNOW, OBVIOUSLY WE DON'T WANT TO DO THAT.
CAUSE NOW YOU'RE TALKING LIKE, YOU KNOW, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, UM, YOU KNOW, I DON'T, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT NUMBER NECESSARILY NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED, BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THINGS LIKE THE TENNIS COURTS, I MEAN A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A DAY FOR A TOURNAMENT FOR ALL 12 COURTS, THAT'S NOT EVEN $12 A COURT.
YOU GIVE THEM SOME KIND OF DISCOUNT, BUT YOU KNOW, ESPECIALLY WITH THE WORK AND THE MONEY THAT'S BEEN PUT INTO THE TENNIS COURTS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, IT WOULD MAKE SENSE TO ESPECIALLY LOOK AT THAT.
I MEAN, YOU'RE TAKING 12 COURTS FOR THE WHOLE DAY WOULD BE 144.
SO IN MY OPINION, WE CHANGED THAT TO A 1 25.
[00:40:01]
YOU KNOW, THAT NICE ROUND NUMBER, BUT THAT'S, YOU KNOW, THAT HAPPENS.WHAT, HOW MANY TIMES A YEAR WE HAVEN'T TOURNAMENTS NOW FOR, UM, TWO SWPBS.
AND THEN, UM, THE ONE GROUP, UM, THE HIGH SCHOOL GROUP THAT COMES OVER, THEY DID THEY'LL DO FOR NO, IT'S NOT, NOT CAROL THERE.
SO SWB L IS MILTON AND THEN THERE'S UM, WILL'S GROUP.
VAL IT'S WILL IS HIS NAME, BUT HE'S AT VALLEY VIEW.
THEY, THEY RUN THEY'LL RUN FOR, I THINK IS WHAT THEY'LL DO.
SO GUESS SIX TOURNAMENTS, SIX ALL DAY TOURNAMENTS A YEAR.
BECAUSE WE DON'T CHARGE FOR CAROL BECAUSE OF KIDS THAT LIVE IN HUBER HEIGHTS.
SO YEAH, I MEAN, MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE, WE BUMPED THAT UP BY 25 BUCKS.
UM, I DON'T, I DON'T THINK ANYBODY'S GONNA, YOU KNOW, OUR FEES ARE SO LOW COMPARED TO EVERY OTHER CITY ALREADY.
UM, AND, AND THE DISCUSSION VINCE AND I HAD EARLIER, I MEAN OUR, OUR FEE PRICE, IF YOU LOOK AT OURS COMPARED TO VANDALIA, I THINK VANDELIA IS FIELD USE FEES ARE PRETTY SIMILAR, BUT THEY'RE DOING ALL OF THE MAINTENANCE THEMSELVES.
THE USER GROUPS ARE NOT DOING THAT.
SO, I MEAN, WE'RE REALLY GETTING MORE BANG FOR OUR BUCK OUT OF THOSE.
WELL, BUT THE TENNIS COURT MAINTENANCE, I MEAN, THAT WAS, YOU KNOW, I, I GOT A GRANT AND WE DID, YOU KNOW, ONE BIG THING.
MOST OF THE MAINTENANCE THERE IS BLOWING LEAVES OFF, WHICH I MEAN NOW EVERY FIVE YEARS WE'LL GO IN AND, YOU KNOW, DO THE BIG STUFF.
BUT, WELL, I WAS SITTING HERE AT THAT.
IF YOU CHARGE, WE CHARGE $12 OR 12, $144.
AND WHENEVER WE HAVE A, WELL, SO WHENEVER WE HAVE A TOURNAMENT THAT'S USING THE WHOLE FACILITY, THERE'S ALWAYS A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAK, JUST LIKE WITH THE WARRIOR CLASSIC.
YOU KNOW, IF WE CHARGE THEM A FULL FIELD PRICE, I MEAN, YOU'RE TALKING, THEY'RE USING 20 FIELDS, LET'S JUST SAY 400 BUCKS TO BE TALKING TO EIGHT GRAND.
SO THERE IS A DISCOUNT WHEN THEY'RE USING THE WHOLE FACILITY FOR THE DAY.
NOW, IF A GROUP COME IN AND SAID, HEY, WE WANT TO USE THREE COURTS WHILE WE'RE GOING TO CHARGE THEM THE 12 BUCKS PER COURT.
UM, SO THAT, THAT'S WHY I WENT WITH THAT NUMBER.
BRIAN, IT'S, IT'S DOUBLE FOR PICKLEBALL THOUGH.
NO, I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY THE PRICES.
I THINK MOST OF THESE PRICES WERE SET BACK WHEN IT WAS THE COUNTY, YOU KNOW, HAD HAD THE PARK AND THEN WE, IT WAS JUST LIKE A COPY AND PASTE TO, WE JUST KEPT IT UP.
SO THAT WAS WHEN THE COUNTY HAD LIKE SIX FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES, SIX PART-TIME AND YOU KNOW, LIKE I SAID, I JUST THINK THAT ALL THE PRICES WERE JUST COPY AND PASTED OVER FROM THEN DOES IT, AND YOU KNOW, THIS MAY BE SOMETHING TOO, UM, THAT I CAN DO, I CAN CALL AROUND, UM, YOU KNOW, TO SOME OTHER MUNICIPALITIES, GET THEIR PRICES, GET THEIR LEVEL OF SERVICE, THEIR LEVEL OF CARE.
AND YOU KNOW, MAYBE IT'S SOMETHING, YOU KNOW, WE SAY, OKAY, HERE'S OUR COST COMPARISON.
NO, WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO GO OTHER PLACES, BUT YOU KNOW, SOMETIME IT'S GOT TO COME BACK AND, AND I MEAN, PARKS, YOU KNOW, THEY'RE NOT MONEYMAKERS.
THEY, THEY NEVER HAVE BEEN, THAT'S NOT WHAT THEY'RE THERE FOR, BUT AT SOME POINT YOU GOT TO COVER SOMETHING, YOU KNOW? SO CAUSE THEN, SO I HAD THE DISCUSSION EARLIER.
I MEAN, THESE FEES COME IN, YOU KNOW, FOR THE YEAR, YOU KNOW, LET'S SAY, UM, WE'LL JUST GO WITH SOFTBALL.
THE FOUR FIELDS, FIVE FIELDS, THEY'RE USING A 200 BUCKS A FIELD THAT'S A THOUSAND DOLLARS A SEASON.
UM, WHEN I'M BUYING FIELD DIRT, WHEN I'M BUYING, UM, THE CHOCK STUFF, YOU KNOW, WE'RE PROBABLY SPENDING 25 TO 3000, UH, SOCCER COMES IN, YOU KNOW, WE'RE PAYING TO HAVE THE FIELDS PAINTED.
IT'S ABOUT THE SAME THING, ABOUT THREE GRAND A YEAR.
SO WE'RE GETTING A THOUSAND AND WE'RE SPENDING, YOU KNOW, 3000, YOU, YOU, YOU GO LIKE THIS.
I DID THIS SURVEY, YOU GET FIVE YEARS AGO AND WE WERE ACHIEVING WELL SURE.
AND I THINK SOME OF THAT IS JUST LEVEL OF SERVICE.
I'M TRYING TO SAY, MAYBE WE NEED THAT.
YOU'RE SAYING, DO THAT SCREW BOARDING SURVEY.
THEN LET'S MAYBE SET SOME PRICES BECAUSE WHAT, YOU KNOW, IN MY OPINION, IF WE'RE GOING TO RAISE, IF WE'RE RAISING OUR PRICES A LITTLE BIT, YOU KNOW, I DON'T SEE A PROBLEM, BUT I PERSONALLY ANYTHING OVER A HUNDRED OR $200 PER FIELD UP CHANGE, THEN TO ME, FOR ME TO ASK FOR THAT, AND THEN STILL THEM HAVE TO MAINTAIN EVERYTHING THEMSELVES.
I MEAN, SOFTBALL, YOU KNOW, THEY, THEY MAY BE PAYING A THOUSAND FOR THE FIELDS, BUT THEY'RE PUTTING, YOU KNOW, FOUR OR 5,000 PLUS
[00:45:01]
DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK INTO IT.SO, YOU KNOW, I MEAN, THAT'S THE WAY I LOOK AT IT.
IF, YOU KNOW, SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE I HAVE A STAFF AND MY STAFF CAN TAKE OVER THE FIELD MAINTENANCE.
WE RAISE PRICES UP BECAUSE NOW YOU'RE TALKING, YOU KNOW, TIME OUT OF THE DAY.
AND I DON'T THINK SO EITHER, BUT YOU KNOW, AT, AT SOME POINT, YOU KNOW, YOU START LOOKING AT, YOU KNOW, LIKE YOU SAID, THE SWEAT EQUITY, YOU KNOW, THAT'S, IT'S WORTH A LOT, AT LEAST TO ME WHEN I DON'T HAVE TO DO IT.
SO LET'S JUST SAY THIS IS GOING TO BE FINALIZED BY DECEMBER THE END OF THE DECEMBER MEETING BECAUSE WE'LL START, I'LL START GETTING REQUESTS COME JANUARY.
SO I GUESS THE IMMEDIATE DECISION THEN WOULD BE, YOU KNOW, DO WE MAKE A SMALL CHANGE OR DO WE CALL IT FINAL AND OPEN IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR? YOU KNOW, WE'LL TAKE THE YEAR TO DISCUSS THINGS AND, YOU KNOW, UH, GLENN, I MADE THE MOTION THIS YEAR SURVEY, AND NEXT YEAR WE GET A MORE ACCURATE, A MORE ACCURATE IDEA OF WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING.
BUT I WOULD LIKE TO CAVEAT THAT AND CHANGE THE DATE, CONCESSION STAND PRICING THOUGH, AND NOT LEAVE EVERYTHING IN THE SAME, BUT AT LEAST THE FIELD USE OF LET'S JUST USE THAT ONE.
WELL, WHY DO, WHY ARE WE GOING TO KEEP ON PAYING IT RIGHT NOW? RIGHT.
SO WHAT WAS THE MATTER? UH, BUT WE'LL PROBABLY ALSO HAVE TO ADD IN THE WIFI COSTS ON IT TOO.
SO IT'S LIKE BRING DOWN ELECTRICAL.
I MEAN, INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING USE FOR ELECTRIC, IT'LL JUST SAY UTILITIES.
YOU'RE NOT BEING CHARGED FOR WATER BECAUSE NO.
AND THEN I JUST TOLD, I JUST TOLD THE SOCCER'S CONCESSION GUY, THE GUY TO RUN A CONCESSION WAS ONLY JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, THERE'S WIFI FOR CARTER.
HE WAS, HE'S LIKE, YEAH, THAT'S MY BAD SOFTBALL REQUESTED IT AND WE MADE IT HALF.
BUT THEN I FORGOT TO TELL YOU GUYS.
ALL THAT DATA YOU USED SCROLLING FACEBOOK, BRIAN, I'M SORRY.
UM, BLAKE, UH, YEAH, I THINK WE COULD GO UP TO A HUNDRED BUCKS A MONTH FOR UTILITIES.
FOR THE 300 BUCKS FOR THE SEASON.
WELL, OR, YEAH, I MEAN, JUST DEPENDING ON HOW MANY MINUTES.
WHAT ARE WE
NO, WE'RE NOT CHANGING THAT THEN SAID NO, WE'RE NOT CHANGING MY HEAD.
SO, UM, SO WE HAD SO LATE MENTIONED, UM, CHANGING THE FEES FOR THE CONCESSION STAND FROM TWO 20 A MONTH TO ABOUT A HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH.
UM, SO THE MOTION ON THE FLOOR NOW.
WELL, IS THERE A MOTION ON THE FLOOR TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT? NUMBER TWO? IS EVERYONE GOOD WITH A HUNDRED? OR WOULD YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD? IT'S TWO 20 RIGHT NOW.
BUT I, I, UM, I'M JUST TRYING TO, I'D RATHER WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT THE BASELINE PRICE OF ELECTRICAL UTILITY TO THE CITY.
CAUSE I, YOU KNOW, BEFORE WE HAD THIS, THE NUMBER, SO I, IT SHOULDN'T BE HARD FOR ME TO GET WITH.
WE JUST NEED THIS DONE BY, BY THE END OF THE YEAR.
SO, I MEAN, WE STILL GOT ONE MONTH.
SO CAN YOU, UM, GET THE NUMBERS FOR BOTH THE, FOR THE UTILITIES, FOR, FOR THE SUMMER, THE AVERAGE AMOUNT I'LL JUST HAVE I HAVE MARLENE, UM, SHE'S ONE OF THE HANDLES ALL OF THE BILLING.
I'LL JUST ASK HER TO PULL, UM, YOU KNOW, THE LAST 12 MONTHS.
I MEAN, EVEN THOUGH WE'RE NOT ALL THE WAY INTO DECEMBER, BUT YOU KNOW, THERE'S NOT MUCH GOING ON THERE.
I THINK A HEATER RUNS JUST THE, UH, IT'S MY, MY THING IS IT'S LIKE, I KNOW YOU WANT TO GET THIS ONE LITTLE THING.
IT'S JUST THE ONE LITTLE THING.
LET'S JUST GET THE NUMBERS BEFORE WE ACTUALLY VOTE ON HE'S LOOKING FOR THE BUDGET BILLING PRICE, OPPOSED TO THE CASHIER.
SO WHAT WE'LL DO IS, UM, WE'LL DO THAT.
WE'LL MOVE INTO SOME TWO NEXT MONTH.
UM, CRYSTAL MAKES SOME ADJUSTMENTS WHERE YOU CAN, AND THEN WE'LL GO FROM THERE.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY OTHER ADJUSTMENTS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE ME IN THE DOCUMENT? I'VE GOT WHAT I MENTIONED NO TO MY RIGHT.
[00:50:01]
NONE OF MY LEFT.SO WHAT WE'LL DO IS WHEN WE SEND THIS OUT TO YOU ON WITH THE ADJUSTMENTS THAT CHRIS HAS, ONCE WE GET THE NUMBER, I'LL SEND THAT OUT TO YOU ALL, UM, THE AVERAGE AMOUNT, AND THEN WE'LL DISCUSS ON THE MONDAY MEETING.
I'M SAYING NOT FOR MEETING, NOT FOR NOW, OBVIOUSLY, CAUSE WE'RE NOT DOING THAT.
BUT CHRIS LOOKING AT THE FOOTBALL PRACTICE, OPEN FIELD 12 PER DAY, WHAT, HOW, WHERE DID THAT NUMBER COME FROM? NO IDEA.
SO, BECAUSE WE JUST CHARGED THEM A FEE, WE CHARGED THEM THAT OTHER, YOU KNOW, THAT 200 PER SEASON THAT WE CHARGE AT OTHER FACILITIES.
SO I, YEAH, BUT I THINK THE OTHER THING WE NEED TO LOOK AT TOO IS, I MEAN THAT WHOLE OPEN AREA BY THE CON BY THE SPLASH PAD, THAT'S NOT ONE FIELD CAUSE FLAG FOOTBALL USED IT.
WELL, THEY FLOATED AROUND, BUT YEAH, WE HAD TO MOVE HIM DOWN THERE BECAUSE OF YOUR DRUG DRAINAGE ISSUE.
BUT I THINK THEY WERE PAYING FOR TWO FIELDS BECAUSE THEY SET UP TWO FIELDS, BUT I'M TALKING, UM, LIKE PEEWEE.
SO I THINK, AND THAT'S PROBABLY A DISCUSSION, YOU KNOW, YOU AND I WILL HAVE FIRST.
AND THEN ONCE WE DECIDE ON FEE LEVELS, WE CAN, YOU KNOW, BRING IT TO THE BOARD.
BUT JUST, I MEAN, I'VE ALWAYS NOTICED THAT IN THERE AND IT'S ALWAYS BEEN KIND OF LIKE, ARE YOU, DID YOU GET THE BASEBALL CONDITIONING, UH, FEEL CONDITIONING STUFF SECURED FOR UP AT LIKE SHELL OR A COTTONWOOD OR SEAN COTTONWOOD? NO, WE HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED THOSE YET.
UM, UM, YOU KNOW, I'M HOPING THAT THEY COME OUT NEXT WEEK TO START THE FOUR FIELDS AT CLOUD.
UM, AND I CAN DISCUSS THAT AT THE END, UNDER NEW BUSINESS WITH ALL THAT.
I MEAN, YOU KNOW, IF YOU'RE GONNA SPEND, IF YOU'RE GONNA INVEST THAT KIND OF MONEY INTO GETTING THOSE FIELDS READY SO PEOPLE CAN USE THEM, IT MIGHT BE WORTH CHANGING THAT UP A LITTLE BIT, TO BE MORE REFLECTIVE OF, OF WHAT WE'RE DOING AT MONITA AND CLOUD.
I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY, BECAUSE WE'LL TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL, HYC FOOTBALL.
SINCE SOCCER, WE MOVED AWAY FROM A 15, 8, 15 B, WHICH IS BASEBALL, DOW OUTFIELD FOR BASEBALL FIELD ONE.
WE MOVED THAT TO SOCCER FIELD ONE.
AND SO FOOTBALL WAS USING ALL AROUND THE SPOTLIGHT AND THEY ARRIVED.
I'M JUST SAYING THEY WERE OUT THERE.
IT GIVES THAT OUTFIELD, THE BASEBALL FIELD ONE, WHICH WOULD, I THINK IT WORKED OUT BETTER FOR EVEN SOCCER BECAUSE WE WEREN'T FIGHTING FOR THE PARKING SPACES OVER THERE.
SO, BUT STILL FOOTBALL IS STILL PARKING ALL AFTER THE GRASS ALL THE TIME.
SO ANY MORE COMMENTS ON THAT? SO WE ARE GOING TO MOVE THIS TO THE DECEMBER MEETING 2022 PROGRAMMING DISCUSSION.
SO PER OUR LAST MEETING, UM, I ASKED EVERYONE TO, UH, START THINKING ABOUT PROGRAMMING FOR NEXT YEAR, BECAUSE WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO IS START PUTTING THINGS ON A CALENDAR OR START, YOU KNOW, AT LEAST TALKING ABOUT SOME THINGS THAT WE WANT TO DO.
UM, SO DID ANYONE BRING ANYTHING OTHER THAN A PARADE AND THE, UM, CLEANUP AND GEOCASHING UM, DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY IDEAS, RIGHT? YEAH.
I'VE GOT SOME DATES SO THAT CAN GET ON THE CALENDAR FOR THE PARK CLEANUPS.
UM, SO THESE ARE GOING TO BE THE FIRST ONE'S GOING TO BE APRIL 24TH, WHICH IS A SUNDAY.
UM, THAT'S, THAT'LL BE OUR BIG EARTH DAY CLEAN UP, UM, LIKE TO RENT OR NOT RENT, BUT, UH, CHECK OUT ONE OF THOSE, UH, TRAILERS WITH ALL THE, ALL THE EQUIPMENT.
UM, AND THEN FROM MAY TO OCTOBER, UM, THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH OF THE MONTHS.
SO IT'S MAY 22ND, JUNE 19TH, JULY 17TH, AUGUST 21ST, SEPTEMBER 18TH, OCTOBER 16TH.
AND THEN VIEWED
UM, BUT ALL THOSE WILL BE AT 9:00 AM AND THEN, UM, LOCATIONS WILL BE TBD DEPENDING ON WHERE THE CLEANUPS MIGHT BE NEEDED MORE.
AND WHERE DO YOU THINKING ABOUT FOR THE, FOR THE EARTH DAY TRAIL? WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE THAT? UM, YEAH, THAT MIGHT BE TBD AT THIS POINT TOO, BUT OKAY.
THEN WE CAN ALSO TALK TO JOSH ABOUT WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN.
UM, I HAVE AN IDEA, BUT WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN, UM, FOR EARTH DAY AND THEN WE CAN, I WOULD RATHER SUBMIT FOR THE TRAILER EARLY.
AND VERSUS WE, YOU KNOW, SO, BUT IT WAS EASY TO GET, I CAN WALK YOU THROUGH WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK IS THERE A DAY NEXT YEAR? DO WE KNOW? SO YEAH, DOING IT ON SATURDAY STILL WORKS WELL THEN IF THAT'S A SUNDAY
[00:55:01]
23RD, THAT'S EASY.THIS YEAR, I'M GOING TO MAKE HER WAY WHERE OUR NEXT YEAR WE'LL MAKE EVERYBODY WEAR ORANGE JUMPSUITS WHILE THEY SURE.
ANYTHING ELSE, DENNIS? RON, ALEX, NOPE.
SO, UM, I'VE ALREADY STARTED TALKING TO SOME FOLKS BY SOME, SOME OF THE THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO DO NEXT YEAR AS A FITNESS EXPO, UH, PARTNERING WITH SOME OF THE BIG LOCAL BUSINESSES AROUND HERE, THE YMCAS AND WORKING WITH THEM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO HOST SEVERAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER, SPRING AND FALL, WHERE WE CAN PROMOTE A WELLNESS, UM, HEALTHY EATING, UH, PHYSICAL FITNESS, UM, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT BUILDS SMITH WELLNESS.
SO I WOULD LIKE TO DO THAT, UM, DO A LOT OF THAT IN THE PARKS AND GET SOME VOLUNTEERS AS WELL.
UM, MY GOAL IS TO HAVE THIS AT NO COST TO RESIDENTS, BUT OF COURSE THEY MAY, THERE MAY BE SOME SMALL FEES FOR SOMETHING.
UM, AND THEN ALONG WITH THAT, UM, I KNOW AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER WE HAVE THE GARDEN OUT THERE NOW.
SO, UM, WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO IS, UM, HOST SOME CLASSES THAT DEAL WITH GARDENING AND YOU KNOW, HOW TO DO GARDENING, COMMUNITY GARDENING, UM, AND THEN SOME HEALTHY EATING CLASSES ALONG WITH THAT.
SO IT'S ALL SORT OF FOLLOWED STEP-BY-STEP COMPOSTING AND ALL OF THAT.
UM, AND THE REASON WHY I BRING IN THAT ONE SPECIFICALLY, BECAUSE I ATTENDED A SUMMIT TODAY WHERE THEY TALKED ABOUT THE VARIOUS PARTNERSHIPS THAT THE CITIES, THE COMMUNITIES ALL ARE ALL DOING TOGETHER AND HOW THEY'RE HELPING EACH OTHER OUT.
AND I THINK WE HAVE THE COMMUNITY GARDEN DOWN THERE AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER, UM, WITH THE GARDEN DOWN AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER THAT WOULD HELP, YOU KNOW, MAKE THAT, UM, HELP ACTIVATE THAT A LITTLE BIT.
SO, UM, YOU KNOW, THERE'S A CLASS THAT YOU CAN DO ONLINE FOR, UM, UH, WHAT WAS THIS CLASS CALLED? UM, UM, CROCK-POT COOKING, YOU KNOW, UM, THIS, UM, PERSON WALKS YOU THROUGH EVERY STEP, HOW TO COOK A SPECIFIC TYPE OF MEAL AND A CROCK-POT USING HEALTHY FOODS.
SO I LIKE TO DO THINGS LIKE THAT.
UM, AND THEN ALONG WITH THAT, UM, THIS IS ALL TIED TOGETHER.
SO A RUMP PAINTING CLASS, AND WE CAN HAVE THE CHILDREN OR THE ADULTS, UM, PAINT SOME ROCKS AND THEN USE THE, WE CAN USE THOSE ROCKS AS SORT OF LABELS IN THE GARDEN.
SO YOU HAVE A GREEN ONE AND THEN YOUR BIKE PEPPERS ON IT, AND THEN YOU PLAY IT NEXT TO THE PEPPER PLANT AND ALL THAT, BUT THEY MAKE AN, ALSO DO SOMETHING FOR THEIR HOMES AS WELL.
UM, AND OF COURSE WE ALREADY HAVE THE FARMER'S MARKET AND THE MUSIC SERIES GOING, UH, FOR NEXT YEAR.
UM, WE ALSO ALREADY HAVE THE GRAND OPENING FOR THE HUBER HEIGHTS BIKE AND SKATE PARK AT BONITA FIELD FIELD.
UM, THE GRAND OPENING, WHICH I THINK IS IN MARCH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS YET.
WE GOT TO WAIT FOR THAT OTHER LOOP TO BE PUT IN, IN THIS.
SO SOMETIME IN THE SPRING, THE GRASS, THE GRILL, AND THEN CHRIS WANTS TO WORK.
UH GEOCASHING SO, SO, SO VINCE, ONE THING WITH YOUR COOKING CLASS, YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT, IT WOULD BE VIRTUAL.
I MEAN, WE CAN, IF IT'S A CROCK-POT CLASS, WE CAN DO CROCK-POT CLASSES AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER, RIGHT.
UM, WELL, NO, THEY PREPARE IT, THEN THEY TAKE IT HOME IN THEIR CROCK-POT.
BUT, UM, I THINK ONE THING THAT I THINK TO INCLUDE WHAT THAT PROGRAMMING AND I KNOW I'VE TALKED TO SOME OF OUR VENDORS AT THE FARMER'S MARKET ABOUT IT, BUT HAVE A ONCE A MONTH OR SOMETHING HAVE A RECIPE THAT WE PUT OUT AND GO, HEY, YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING TO MAKE THIS MEAL AT OUR FARMER'S MARKET.
SEND PEOPLE THERE TO BUY MEAT FROM A VENDOR, BUY VEGETABLES FROM A VENDOR, BUY SPICES FROM A VENDOR, YOU KNOW, HAVE SOMETHING TO WHERE, YOU KNOW, YOU CAN MAKE THIS WHOLE DISH FROM JUST OUR FARMER'S MARKET.
UM, YOU KNOW, IT'S GOING TO HELP THE VENDORS OUT IN AND ULTIMATELY IT, IT, IT CREATES SOMETHING FUN.
I KNOW, I THINK WE'VE DISCUSSED THIS BEFORE AND YOU KNOW, I THINK IF WE GIVE EVERYBODY A HEADS UP TO MAKE SURE THAT, YOU KNOW, HEY, YOU GONNA HAVE TO HAVE THESE INGREDIENTS IN STOCK AND ON HAND AND THINGS LIKE THAT AND MAKE THEM WORK AROUND, YOU KNOW, THE CYCLE OF, OF FARMING AND ALL THAT STUFF.
UM, BUT TOO WITH, UH, UM, EARTH DAY, I KNOW, UM, GLENN HAS SPOKE ABOUT IT BEFORE.
I THINK THREE THINGS TO SEE FOR EARTH DAY THIS YEAR, NOT JUST THE TRASH CLEANUP, UM, BUT WE'RE, WE'RE KIND OF, I MEAN, WE'RE CLOSE ENOUGH
[01:00:01]
BEING THAT LAST, ALMOST LAST WEEK IN THE APRIL THAT WE CAN PUT SOME PLANTS IN THE GROUND.AREN'T WE, I MEAN, WE'RE STILL ABOUT A MONTH OUT FROM MOTHER'S DAY, SO IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE EARLY, BUT SO MAYBE, MAYBE USING THAT DAY TO PREP ALL OF THE GARDEN BEDS, YOU KNOW, GET THEM, EVERYTHING GETS YOUR, OUR LEAF COMPOST, ALL THAT STUFF IN THEM.
SO WHEN THAT DAY ROLLS AROUND, WE CAN, UM, YOU KNOW, HAVE A, HAVE IT READY TO PUT STUFF IN AND ALSO DO SOME TREE PLANTINGS FOR EARTH DAY, WAIT, BY DOING THIS IN STEPS, YOU'RE GOING TO BRING MORE PEOPLE IN, RIGHT? SO THE FIRST STEP WOULD BE THE BEDS, MAYBE, UM, WE'RE KIND OF A LIST OF TREES AND PLANTS.
THEN YOU CAN GO AND PLANT THEM, THEN PUT IN CARE.
AND THEN BY THE END OF THE SEASON, WE'RE LOOKING AT HARVESTING 'CAUSE.
I THINK IF WE WERE TO, AND I CAN, WE CAN HAVE SOMETHING PERMANENT BUILT, BUT IF WE HAVE THAT, THAT GARDEN AVAILABLE THERE TO WHERE A COUPLE OF DAYS, A WEEK, PEOPLE ARE GOING IN AND HARVEST AND, AND JUST SET AND STUFF ON THE TABLE, SET AND STUFF IN BASKETS WHERE PEOPLE CAN JUST COME GET IT.
YOU KNOW, IF WE SET SOME POSTS IN THE GROUND AND BUILD A PERMANENT TABLE, OBVIOUSLY THE TABLES AREN'T GOING TO DISAPPEAR.
UM, YOU KNOW, BUT WHEN THE, UM, CAMPFIRE WAS THERE, THAT'S WHAT THEY DID, BUT NOBODY EVER CAME AND GOT IT.
YOU KNOW, MOST OF THE TIME THEY WOULD CALL US AT THE STREET DEPARTMENT ON A FRIDAY AND GO, HEY, WE'VE GOTTEN 12 BASKETS AND STUFF.
YOU GUYS JUST NEED TO COME GET IT.
WELL, AND THAT'S, YOU KNOW, THAT'S THE THING.
WE COULD COME UP WITH A GROUP, HAVE SOME KIDS, YOU KNOW, WE PROBABLY CAN'T SELL IT, BUT I MEAN, WE CAN DO SOMETHING WITH IT, BUT I THINK IF WE ADVERTISE IT MORE THAT IT'S THERE.
UM, I THINK IT'LL DEFINITELY GET UTILIZED MORE.
I MEAN, JUST TO SET IT OUT THERE AND YOU CAN HAVE IT OUT THERE WITH A BOX, IF SOMEBODY WANTED TO THROW A DONATION IN, I MEAN, YOU KNOW, I DON'T, I DON'T CARE EITHER WAY, BUT, UM, YOU KNOW, I THINK HAVING THAT, BUT THEN I THINK TOO, WITH THESE POLLINATOR AREAS WE'RE PUTTING IN, UM, YOU KNOW, THERE ARE STILL INVASIVE SPECIES THAT POP UP AND THOSE POLLINATOR AREAS, HAVING A CHART THAT SHOWS WHAT THOSE ARE AND HAVING PEOPLE WALK THOSE AREAS AS WELL, WHICH BY SPRING TIME, WE'RE, YOU KNOW, THEY'RE GOING TO PLANT THEM IN LIKE FEBRUARY, MARCH.
SO WE MAY NOT HAVE ANYTHING THERE ANYWAY, BUT GOING IN AND, UH, I KNOW A LOT OF PLACES, THAT'S THE WAY THAT THEY HANDLE THOSE WEEDS IS BY PULLING THEM BY HAND, BECAUSE THAT'S ABOUT ALL YOU CAN DO WITH SOME OF THE TIMES.
SO, YOU KNOW, I THINK LOOKING AT NOT JUST DOING A TRASH CLEANUP ON THAT DAY, UM, BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE MOST OF THE TIME WE HAVE, YOU KNOW, 30, 40 VOLUNTEERS WE'RE DONE IN 45 MINUTES BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS AT THE SAME PLACE PICKING UP.
SO I THINK IF WE HAVE DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, UM, YOU KNOW, I THINK, YOU KNOW, WE MAY DRAW IN MORE PEOPLE, BUT THEN EVERYBODY'S NOT JUST IN THE SAME PLACE, YOU KNOW, PICKING UP FIVE THINGS.
SO, SO THERE WAS, UH, UH, DURING THAT SUMMER THERE WAS, UH, ONE OF THE COMMUNITY PART DISCUSSED, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, WHERE THEY TOOK EV WE TOOK THEM THROUGH THE EACH PHASE, RIGHT? SO THERE WAS A CLASS WHERE THEY TAUGHT THEM ABOUT COMPOSTING AND THEY WERE ACTUALLY COMPOSTING AT THAT TIME, UM, A CLASS WHERE THEY WERE DOING THE GARDENING, JUST PREPPING THE BEDS AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW TO DO WHAT, ET CETERA, THEY WOULD WALK THEM THROUGH EACH OF THE STEPS AND THEN THEY WOULD WALK THROUGH THE HARVESTING PROCESS AS WELL.
SO IT'S, I'M NOT SAYING, SO IF IT'S ALL THROUGH THE ENTIRE SEASON AND THAT'S SORT OF WHAT I'M LEANING TOWARDS IS, YOU KNOW, JUST ACTIVATING THE GARDEN, ACTIVATING, YOU KNOW, THE WELLNESS AND THE HEALTH AND ALL OF THAT.
AND JUST TAKING EVERYONE THROUGH THE STATE.
AND I MEAN, WE HAVE FIVE BEDS OUT THERE, SO WE'RE NOT TALKING A TON OF SPACE.
AND SO WE CAN BUILD MORE BEDS.
I MEAN, WE COULD EVEN HAVE THAT, YOU KNOW, MAYBE THAT COULD EVEN BE PART OF EARTH DAY.
I'LL HAVE THE MATERIALS THERE.
YOU KNOW, GLEN'S ALREADY MISSING PART OF A FINGER.
HE'S NOT GOING TO CARE TO LOSE ANOTHER ONE.
IF HE'S GOT SOME KID OUT THERE RUNNING US ALL OVER IT, HE CAN TEACH HIM.
BUT, UH, YOU KNOW, WE, YOU KNOW, WE, WE DO THE, WE DO THE BED BUILDING EVEN ON THAT DAY TO GET A FEW MORE IN THERE.
SO WE HAVE THINGS READY FOR HARVEST TIME, NO PLAYING WITH THE PRODUCE.
WE COULD TAKE THE PRODUCE DOWN TO THE FOOD BANK.
WELL, YOU CAN ALSO DELIVER IT LOCALLY HERE.
THERE'S A LOT OF WAYS WE CAN GET IT.
ANOTHER MEMBER WE TALKED ABOUT HAVING A TREE, I NEED ID CLASS.
THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING YOU CAN MOVE INTO THESE CATEGORIES YOU'RE PUTTING IN HERE.
YOU KNOW, YOU MENTIONED THE IDEA, HUH? YOU DIDN'T MENTION THE IDEA.
THERE'S ONE THAT'S BECAUSE EVERY OTHER TIME IT HADN'T HAPPENED.
BUT, AND I, AND I THINK EVEN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT, OKAY, SO WE DO TREE IDENTIFICATION, BUT WE ALSO MAYBE TEACH PROPER PRUNING TECHNIQUES.
I MEAN, YOU KNOW, HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU SEE HACKING UP TREES IN THEIR YARD? YOU KNOW, SO, I MEAN, THERE, THERE'S ALL SORTS OF THINGS WE CAN DO WITH THIS.
I MEAN, THE LADY THAT'S HELPING WITH, UM, THE POLLINATOR THING, UH, POLLINATOR PASTURES, YOU
[01:05:01]
KNOW, I'D LOVE TO HAVE HER COME IN AND TALK ABOUT, YOU KNOW, DO A CLASS ON THE POLLINATOR PLANTS, WHY THEY'RE IMPORTANT, WHY, YOU KNOW, SETTING SOME OF THIS STUFF UP IN YOUR OWN YARD AND IN YOUR OWN GARDEN IS GOOD BECAUSE OF, YOU KNOW, HOW IT HELPS WITH NATURE AND HOW IT HELPS, YOU KNOW, ANIMALS AND STUFF THAT DON'T HAVE THE HABITATS OTHER PLACES.SO, I MEAN, THERE'S, THERE'S LOTS OF THINGS WE CAN, WE CAN DO THROUGH THERE.
YOUR NATURAL, YOUR WILDLIFE AREA, YOU GOT OUT THERE AT THE RIVER.
THAT'S THE NATIVE PAT, THE POLLINATOR PASTURES.
SO THOSE ARE SOME OF THE IDEAS THEY'RE IN, OF COURSE, PARTNERING WITH THE Y BECAUSE THE Y HAS A TON OF GREAT EVENTS AS WELL.
MY GOAL IS TO SORT OF TRY AND HAVE ANY EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY INSTEAD OF JUST UP IN ONE LOCATION.
SO BRINGING THE FOLKS DOWN IN THE COMMUNITY CENTER OR THE, UH, THE COMMUNITY, COMMUNITY ART, UH, ET CETERA.
SO JUST ROTATING IT AROUND A LITTLE BIT, BUT I THINK IF WE CAN, UM, WE CAN GET SOME GREAT PARTNERS OUT THERE AND VOLUNTEERS, I THINK WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
UM, AND SO THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST ONE, SO, BUT YEAH, ALEX, NO.
SO ANY QUESTIONS ON THAT PROGRAMMING OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT? ALL RIGHT.
GO AHEAD AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT AGENDA ITEM HERE.
SO, UM, WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO IS, UM, I'VE ASKED JOSH TO SEND ME A COPY OF THE SPONSOR PACKAGES THAT WE'VE USED FOR THE MUSIC AND MOVIES, UM, EVERY YEAR.
AND I'M GOING TO EMAIL THAT TO YOU ALL.
UM, WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO IS TRY AND REACH OUT TO SOME OF THE BUSINESSES AND THE COMMUNITY NOW, UM, TO SEE WHAT THEIR, THEY WILL BE WILLING TO SPONSOR SOME OF OUR BINS, UM, O ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT YEAR.
AND THAT WOULD INCLUDE, YOU KNOW, THE MOVIES, THE MUSIC, OR ANY OF THE DOG PARADE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.
SO, UM, SO I'M GOING TO ASK HIM TO SEND THAT OUT TO ME, UM, TO SEND TO YOU ALL SO THAT WHEN YOU ALL HAVE IT, AND IF YOU KNOW OF ANY BUSINESSES THAT ARE WILLING TO DONATE, YOU CAN JUST GIVE THEM A COPY OF THE PACKAGE.
SO ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, ALL RIGHT.
DO WE HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL BUSINESS OR ANNOUNCEMENTS? YEAH.
SO, UH, WHAT WAS BROUGHT UP EARLIER? THE FIELD MAINTENANCE AND STUFF? UM, I DID GET THE, ORIGINALLY WE WERE GOING TO GO WITH, UM, THE MERCER GROUP TO DO OUR FIELDS.
THEY COULDN'T EVEN TOUCH THEM UNTIL JULY THAT WASN'T GONNA WORK FOR US.
UM, SO WE ENDED UP GETTING BACK IN TOUCH WITH LAWN PLUS IT WAS A WHOLE PROCESS.
THE GUY WHO DID IT LEFT, TOOK A JOB AT USD.
SO SOMEBODY ELSE IS DOING IT NOW WITH LAWN PLUS, BUT I FINALLY GOT THEM DOWN.
THEY DID COME OUT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND PUT AN INITIAL TREATMENT TO SPRAY THOSE FOUR FIELDS AT CLOUD.
AND THEY SAID THEY CAN WORK THOSE OVER THE WINTER.
THEY CAN GET THEM STRIPPED OFF.
THEN THAT WAY, WHEN SPRING ROLLS AROUND, IT'S JUST COMING IN AND DOING SOME FINAL TOUCHES.
THEY CAN DO THE LASER LEVELING AND ALL THAT OVER THE WINTER TIME.
UM, SO THEY ARE GOING TO GO AHEAD AND I ALREADY SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THEM.
THEY'RE GOING TO DO THE FOUR FIELDS AT CLOUD OVER THE WINTER.
AND THEN ONCE, YOU KNOW, THE SPRING COMES AROUND, THEN THEY'LL GO AND HIT MONITA.
AND THEN THEY'LL DO FIELD ONE LAST, UH, THE HARD BALL DIAMOND.
UM, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ALL OF THOSE FIELDS WILL NOT HAVE MOUNDS.
THEY'RE ALL GOING TO BE FLAT, BUT WE'RE BUYING PORTABLE MOUNTAINS.
SO THAT WAY THEY CAN BE USED FOR BASEBALL.
AND THEN IN THE FALL SEASON, IF FALL WANTS TO HAVE THEIR FALL SOFTBALL SEASON, THOSE FIELDS WILL ALL HAVE, THEY CAN TAKE THE MOUND OFF, UM, AND, AND USE IT THAT WAY.
SO THAT WAY THEY'RE MULTI-USE FIELDS.
AND THEN EVEN IN THE FUTURE, IF YOU KNOW, WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS, IT'S SUITABLE FOR WHOEVER.
AND THEN WE CAN EITHER ADD A MOUNTAIN BACK IF WE HAVE TO IT'S, IT'S EASY THINGS TO CHANGE.
UM, BUT THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE ALL OF THOSE FIELDS, I BELIEVE, 60 FOOT.
SO EVERYTHING WILL PRETTY MUCH BE UNIFORM.
UM, THEY WILL HAVE IT SET TO WHERE IF THEY NEED TO HAVE SEPARATE BASIS, THEY'LL, THEY'LL SET ALL THOSE.
AND, UM, YOU KNOW, I'VE, I'VE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH, WITH HUBER, SOFTBALL, BASEBALL ASSOCIATION TO, UH, MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE MEETING THEIR NEEDS.
AND, UH, SO THAT IS MOVING FORWARD THERE.
I KNOW THERE HADN'T BEEN MUCH TALK ABOUT IT LATELY, BUT IT IS, IT IS MOVING FORWARD.
